I eat a lot of BBQ. Like more then a person with high blood pressure should. But Ronnie's may be the best simple traditional BBQ I've had. They dont have any bells and whistles, just really good BBQ. I got the Sampler box with a Chicken leg quarter. The brisket was moistand tender, holds together but bites clean thru. The ribs meat bits perfect and pulls of the bone easily. The traditional North Carolina pulled pork had just the right vinegar flavor but not being over powering the pork. And the the Chicken leg quarter it is undoubtedly the beat I've had. Pull the bones out with ease, the skin smoked and crispy the meaty juicy and tender. Lord help me i need more of that Chicken. Hopefully next time the Mac and cheese aint sold out. But other then that Fantastic.

Listen !!!!!!!! Some of the best BBQ !! I’ve ever tasted I live an hour away me & my wife go every other Friday & it never fails . The Mac & cheese ?????? . Great folks hospitality amazing .
You can tell that a lot of love goes into cooking this food! It is awesome! It was our first time trying Ronnie’s and definitely not our last. I wish we had a bigger family so we could have purchased a bigger variety of their food to try. But what we got was mouthwatering. The pulled pork bbq sandwich was robust and tasty. The cole slaw, green beans, baked beans were soooo yummy. We also got burnt ends which we never had before….spicy and tasty and wanting us to come back for more. The piece of cornbread that I got was unbelievably amazing. I did not share that with my husband… no way! It was that good!Thank you for your commitment to making great food!! We will see you next weekend!
All the food smelled good but it tasted bland like there was no seasoning or anything on it the baked beans were really bland and so was the cobbler and the bbq sauce Im still confused about how something smells so good but tastes so

Ronnie never disappoints! The ribs are smoked to perfection, everytime! Tender, smoky and flavorful... and the pulled pork is amazing! The staff has always been accommodating, shout out to Emmanuel!!! When I get a taste for great BBQ and don't feel like doing it myself, Ronnie's is my go to place! And I love the curbside service, don't have to leave my car! I wish I could tell you about their other items on the menu, but I can't get away from the ribs and the pulled pork!
The food is good. The meats have a great smoked flavor. They come to your car and take your order.

Mr Ronnie and his family are BBQ kings! Hubby and I stopped enroute home to Williamsburg and so glad we did. Ribs were smoky, tender, moist and sooo flavorful. Sauce on the side. Yay! I prefer my ribs dry rub style and this rack knocked it out of the park. Also got wings. No chick wings here. Nice whole smoked wings left this wing nut speechless. And the Hubby craves those baked beans. Hush puppies and potatoes salad were delicious sides totally in keeping with the quality of the meats. Thank you Mr Ronnie! You’re right, we will be coming back.
