Staff was very nice and professional. Food was good. I passed up on two barbeque restaurants to drive 30 minutes for the chicken barbecue and potato salad and my husband had the brisket. We enjoyed our meal.
Unfortunately they were out of Brisket and the Mac and cheese is only on Sundays. However, the fried fish is wonderful. The smoked whole wings are delicious and the pulled chicken was great! I ordered baked beans, collard greens, cornbread, and potato salad. The highlight is definitely the Collard Greens, soooooo good. I definitely will be going again next week to hopefully get the brisket. The prices are decent as well, nothing overpriced. I definitely will be going back many...
Great barbecue. Puts other RVa spots to shame. Loved the Grill Master sandwich and the sauce was mid-sweet, tangy, bright, and superb. Only a few tables to sit at without shade, and we had to buy water. We biked, and it’s right on the capital trail, so this is an important note.
