The chicken tenders are huge but I highly recommend you remove the fascia before batter and frying. It is like a rubber band is fried when you leave that membrane on. Tater tots tasted like old oil and onions were fried with them. I probably will not want to try other food items.
Wife wanted to slide by the ice cream place and then the Short Pump location here for dinner. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. I saw the “Red Beard’s Ghost” sauce and was contemplating it on some wings.
The guy at the counter gave me a sample, and it was smooth with just a little heat. Flavorful. The ghost lured me in. I thought, no problem, I can handle this. I was wrong. So wrong.

This is a fabulous little joint in the heart of Short Pump with a friendly staff, freshly made to order chicken, fries, tots, and sauces, & a fun atmosphere! Everything we ordered came out quickly but piping hot and FRESH! No reheated textures or soggy fries here, folks! Definitely recommend!!
