The Kitchen + Bar @ Short Pump

Came in at 11am today. Got sat quickly in the back of the restaurant. Sat there for ten minutes with multiple employees looking at us, not acknowledging us, or even caring to come say, ‘we will be right with you.’ There was less than 10 tables sat in the entire restaurant and most everyone else already had their food. Sorry to be an inconvenience for you. We finally got up to leave after hostess came towards the back, stared at us, and then cut into the kitchen. She watched us get up and walk out without even trying to inquire to what happen. Watch for water all over the floor also. My son slipped on the floor right inside the doors. The hostess saw it and said nothing.

The server is phenomenal. Great pizza and beer. Decent spinach and artichoke dip. Nice seating and music.

I went on Sunday, and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. I love the luxurious atmosphere of The Daily. They have a large patio area, with lots of room between tables. The food, appetizers, and drinks were emaculate. My server was very friendly and attentive, but not over bearing. I will definitely visit again. Thank you!
