I've been here for lunch twice and each time the food and service were impeccable. I vowed to keep coming back until I've eaten everything from their lunch menu. So far each meal was perfectly prepared and wonderfully flavorful! The host/ Waiter even recognized us from the last time!

Food was ok, menu seems a little all over the place and I’d think it could be made better if it focused more on the cuisines it specializes in (Indian, Filipino). Service was nice. Overall the restaurant had a dated and maybe a bit stale ambience. Perhaps because it was a slower night, we felt a bit under attended to.
Kachin kawali was very good. Overall the food had a very “home cooking” feel, which was good.

The young man working there (the owners son) is very polite and kind. I asked him which Filipino dish he would recommend. I didn’t quite feel like topsilog so I went with the kare-kare that seemed to be popular. It was no good. Sorry, I’m Filipino and what saved this dish was the bagoong. The ox tail was swimming in oil, there was no flavor except that it was too sweet. I almost asked for more bagoong. I moved the oxtail and the one baby bok choy and one eggplant out of the oil stew to my rice plate. The rice wasn’t the typical calrose or short grain rice. It was hard and dry. Didn’t try to eat it with my ulam. Left disappointed. Maybe the topsilog was the better choice.

WILL NOT SPEND OUR MONEY HERE AGAIN. THE MANAGER ADMITTED THE KNOWLINGLY PUT INEDIBLE STEAK ON THE MENU TO BE SERVED TO UBER ORDERS SO THAT THEY ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THE ORDER. THE MANAGER SAID SHE SHOULD'VE THEY REMOVED THE OPTION FROM UBER DUE TO ALMOST BEING OUT AND THEY RESERVED THE QUALITY CUTS FOR THE PEOPLE DINING IN TODAY. IT WAS ALL VOLUNTEERED INFORMATION THAT SHE THOUGHT WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE AND SMOOTHED OVER BY OFFERING A DISCOUNT. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE SWINDLE, I HIGHLY SUGGEST SPENDING YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.
It's amazing the breadth of food at this place. It's not like every dish is the most perfect representation of that specific dish, but it's just such a fun place to go and try different things prepared well from all around the world
Had lunch with my sons. We went with the old reliables — tapsilog and lechon kawali. My food rating was mostly based on the fact that I also cook. My standards are a bit snobbish. Food was ok. The sauce for the lechon was a bit watered down, I thought. Like back in the day when you try to squeeze the last drop from the bottle of Mango Tomas sauce lol. The place was very quiet. Clean. Not bad for lunch. The owner was very nice and friendly as usual. I’d go back whenever I get the craving for home cooked Filipino food, but too lazy to cook it myself.

Finally a fulfilling authentic Filipino food experience. Our waitress was so nice and genuine, generously told us about the place, and understanding of our dietary restrictions. The turon was my favorite part, but the lumpia was a nostalgic piece to enjoy. My family definitely plan on coming back. 10 out of 10 everything! Only thing I would change about this place is to double down on the Filipino cuisine.

I came in on a rainy night (slow) but wow am I glad I did. The lamb (from Grandma's recipe) melted in the mouth. The wine list very international and reasonable

Easily the best restaurant in Herndon. If you’re looking for a spread of home-cooked authentic foods then look no further than A Taste of the World. The most warm and welcoming owners and staff. I’d bring any of my family here or people visiting to give them a taste of the best food in Northern Virginia.

My trip to Taste of the World Restaurant was a unique culinary adventure that immersed me in the essence of Filipino cuisine. I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality as soon as I walked in, which set the stage for an amazing dinner experience.
The meals are unparalleled in their genuineness. With each bite of the delicate beef and creamy peanut sauce of the Kare Kare, I was taken back to the streets of Manila. I was hankering over more Lumpia Spring Rolls because of their delicious blend of crispiness and savoury contents.
Not only is the cuisine great, but the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere and kind staff also make it stand out. It was the ideal location to enjoy authentic Filipino flavours with friends and family because of the lively yet welcoming atmosphere. Every guest was made to feel welcome and well-cared for by the attentive and exemplary personnel.
Overall, I had an absolutely wonderful experience. Taste of the World is the perfect place to go if you're searching for a genuine Filipino dining experience that blends delectable food, cordial service, and a cosy atmosphere. I am very excited to return to this five-star gem!

I couldn't help but be swept away by the sheer excellence of both the culinary offerings and the impeccable service. It's not an exaggeration when I say that this place warrants not just five, but six stars for its outstanding performance in every aspect of the dining experience.
What truly warms the heart is the realization that this gem of a restaurant is not just another corporate entity but a locally owned and family-operated establishment. There's something incredibly special about knowing that every dish served and every smile exchanged is infused with the passion and dedication of those who call this place their own.
So, consider this not just a recommendation but an earnest plea: treat yourself to the gastronomic delights offered here. Not only will you be treated to an unforgettable meal, but you'll also be making a conscious choice to support your community by patronizing a local business—a decision that resonates far beyond the confines of these walls.
And let's not forget the diverse array of culinary treasures awaiting your palate. From the tantalizing spices of Indian cuisine to the comforting flavors of Filipino fare, there's something here to satisfy every craving and ignite a culinary adventure unlike any other.

Took forever for the food to get out, they forgot some of our orders, and took forever to give us the check after we asked for it.
