Service was okay. We sat outdoors with large group. With no fans working and it was hot summer day. It was not good and I'm not coming to this location. The food I got not good and didn't not have any flavor. You need to fix your indoor seating and while sitting them there. You need to have a working fans. We feel very hot and it was not fun.

Stopped in during an off hour. They were quiet and friendly. Pupusas were delicious, recommended by the server. Love that they had the marinated cabbage/slaw. Wish they had Jaritos soda but I'm nitpicking. Overall a nice experience.

As a native New Mexican, this place gets some things right, while failing miserably on most others.

The shredded beef is great - perfect really.

The green chile pork is dry, and lacks any real sauce or juice or flavor really.

The sopapilla was cooked like, maybe a cracker? The dough clearly didnt rise correctly. I doubt the chef has seen a picture of a proper one, or they wouldnt have served me gummy communion cracker.

We generally get pickup. The Herndon’s Anita’s is outstanding. Carryout orders are quick generally 15 minutes or less.

Avoid!!! Got sick after eating here!! We usually go to the one in Fairfax, but stopped in Herndon since we were in that part of town on a Friday evening. I’ll never go back to any Anita’s location. Prices have gone up, plates have gotten smaller, and service is bad.

When we entered, the restaurant smelled strongly of chlorine, which was jarring - I know they need to clean, but perhaps pick a less harsh chemical to clean with.

Second, my mom and I placed our orders and a few seconds later my mom decided to get enchiladas instead of her quesadilla but the waitress said you can’t change the order. I realize that it is inconvenient for them, but I hardly think the restaurant would have lost profit margins if she would have let my mom change her order. The quesadilla was not very good, obviously, and was not served with any side of beans or rice. $13 for 1 tortilla folded with cheese inside and some lettuce and a tablespoon of sour cream should was a rip off. My mom ate her quesadilla and then got sick afterwards.

They have also made their plates smaller. Before Anita’s would serve in these turquoise colored blue fiesta ware plates, but now they use these small white plates. They’ve also reduced their veggie options from before.

It used to be a great local chain, but management has changed it for the worse. I’m sad to say it, but adios forever Anita’s! I want a refund!!!

Fantastic for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had chicken and steak fajitas and the meat was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted delicious.

The food was okay I went for the lunch special It wasn't anything over the top and it wasn't exactly cheap I got the soup and the Friday special it was 20 bucks personally I think I make mine better at home. I had just come out of the hospital so I wanted something quick and easy and different. I like their breakfasts better I think.
