What the heck happened to the salsa? They replaced the little sauce cups with plastic bags and somehow it lost all its flavor. Whatever cost savings, was not worth it.

Really disappointed, been walking by for a while wanting to try and finally got to and only glad I can take it off the list. Salsa is like tomato sauce, we should have left right then but I was hopeful. No one really enjoyed their food, rice is odd and just seems like not good quality ingredients. The staff seemed annoyed we were there. Definitely not worth the prices. Sad to say don't waste your time, we only get to go out rarely so this was even worse.

Food was tasteless, and they charged me $3 xtra for salsa verde that was mostly liquid and not a salsa. Ordered carry out and the woman at the register was not nice at all. I would not recommend this place at all because the customer can see that there is no joy in their faces or seasoning in their tasteless food.

I came to do laundry and I was little hungry , pass by Anita’s to get something to eat , fist co workers talking aloud about personal work which is not appropriate to discuss such a thing in front of customer , request a flauta combo , when food arrive a nice lady from the counter brought my food but the only eatable on this plate were the rice and beans , flautas were super ice cold and non crispy at all , chicken tasted old grossed , crispy taco was greasy and tasteless , left almost everything . I was hopping the server to ask me why I didn’t eat my meal but he ignored me and just charge my meal . Don’t recommend this place and this plate . I wasn’t expecting anything free but at least make sure customer is happy with their dish. I should take a picture but I didn’t . I’m in the food industry and I believe you should not serve such as poor quality food .

Anita's is a Herndon cornerstone of delicious, spicy New Mexico style food - I am a New Mexican. This place is GREAT. This is NOT vanilla mamby-pamby seasoning. Some meals can bring red-green chili spiciness - rightfully so !!

Really great adovada and relleno very authentic NM flavors. Definitely recommended to those who miss NM cuisine

Cinco de mayo....looked form to a nice mexican meal....sorry both our meals were barely warm :P. We don't like to send food back, anyway won't be back this is the second time this has happened....
