DO NOT GO HERE! THE FOOD IS HORRIBLE. The presentation could have been better. My co-worker and I spent $55.00 on two trays of trash. We got two platters with three meats and two sides. I ordered sausage, ribs, sliced brisket, two sides with mac and cheese, fried okra, and a pickle on the side (LOL).

The meat was a letdown. It was devoid of any seasoning, with just a smattering of barbeque sauce that did little to salvage the taste. The mac and cheese tasted like box mac and cheese and was watery. The orka tasted bitter, and the texture was tough. The sausage tasted like a slim Jim! (LOL)

My co-worker ordered chicken instead of the rib on his platter. The chicken was a quarter of a chicken breast.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could not have tried to locate my order, and you don't see it. You know what you out on that tray. I ordered around 11:15 today.

Keep looking!!!!!!

We couldn't buy anything because the person who take the order didn't know anything! On the menu was one price for the family combo and she wanted to charge like extra $30!!! The place look like a haunted house, all alone and sad, we ended up leaving the place without food because the personal couldn't charge us

I went in despite the negative ratings, but quickly learned my lesson. ABYSMAL service, the lady at the counter had no idea what she was doing, didn't know the menu, and for some reason rang up a total that was 30% above of what was posted on the overhead menu board. No way to reason with her about the price difference, she just insisted "I don't know what to do", so we ended up leaving. The food looked like it had been sitting there for hours, and I didn't feel like risking food poisoning even if she had been able to match the posted prices (which again, she couldn't). I'm not going back and hopefully will save someone else the trip and bad experience. We drove a couple of miles further to Mission BBQ, also in Herndon and THAT was amazing.

Some of the worst ribs and brisket I've ever had. I'm offended by the lack of quality at this location.

About the saddest wings I've ever had. First off, the wings must have from 3-week/old chickens there was so little meat on them, and then they just dropped them into a puddle of BBQ sauce. The lemon pepper spice rub was so incredibly salty that I might as well drank the dead sea for the same experience

Great, freshly made food. Only complaint is they don't have an ice cream machine but maybe Dickeys is going away from those.

Vegetarian options: Baked potatoes available

Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu available

Wheelchair accessibility: Adequate space for a wheelchair

DO NOT GO HERE! I love BBQ and was excited to try something new while out in the Herndon area for work. I’d never heard of this place. I ordered a pound of brisket, it was absolutely terrible. Dry as a bone and covered in a salty crust that made it almost inedible. In fact, let’s just say totally inedible. It all ended up in the bin. If you don’t believe me then just look at the photos I attached with this review. In summary, it’s very over priced and terrible quality. Do yourself a favor and find another restaurant.

The brisket was good but the chicken breast tasted like they chopped up a Costco rotisserie and the Mac and cheese tasted like it came from a public school. This bbq definitely didn’t taste like it was worth $30.

Posting this as a reminder to avoid Dickey’s in the future. It’s a shame because they used to be my favorite BBQ nearby when they opened, but this is the second time I’ve been disappointed by a takeout/delivery order from them. Something must have changed recently. This is how my food arrived, and I know it was not tampered with as the bag was sealed. The sauce cup was barely filled halfway. This is a shame, and I can’t see them lasting long in this area if they keep this up!

Sometimes the food is better than other times, best from 11-12 when it’s really fresh.
For the most part though the place always comes through though. I go probably once a week.

Probably the worst brisket ever. INEDIBLE! It was old, hard, dry, and super salty. The salt within the meat actually overpowered the taste of the rub, which by comparison was just bland. The vast majority of the order was made up of old, hard, dry burnt ends. Had to throw it away. The fries were old, cold, and greasy. The food was worse than disappointing.
On the positive side the staff was friendly.

Save your time and money. Order was completely wrong, and the food they gave me was horrible.
