Dickey's Barbecue Pit and Bar, Herndon VA

Nice staff and quick service.

Came in for a late lunch, loaded potato was a little dry. All in all was decent.

We love Dickey’s, but this location was not it. They force you to choose a tip if you are using a card. Second, they were out of ice and customer service was mid.
REPLY TO MANAGEMENT: The only option was the word “other” but the other button was not working. My husband hit the button 5 times and it did not work and so did the next gentleman in line, he stated it wouldn’t work for him either.

Spent almost 20 bucks for a small snadwhich. There was NO cheese on the sandwhich when it clearly states in the description and the picture that there should be. Meat was dry.

Rude staff. Cold food. Hair in BBQ sauce. Now I know why it's dinner time and the place is empty.

I ordered this through a meal delivery service. First I ordered sliced brisket and the receipt showed that correctly but got a plate full of chopped brisket. Additionally ordered a turkey sandwich. It was chopped turkey with almost no smoke flavor, dry, and I could taste or see any seasoning on it. The turkey wasn’t just not great it was honestly disgusting.

The service and atmosphere was fine but the brisket was severely dry and overcooked. Probably the worst looking brisket I have ever seen. Hope they can improve the quality.

The fries are amazing

I put a recent review on trip advisor about this place. Terrible service, they literally weigh the meat , cut it as thin as possible and the taste was worse than the portions. Avoid this restaurant!!

Great experience!! Clearly the main influence for the environment and experience is the manager. While waiting for my food I noticed a number of receipts near the register. The sign near the receipt said they were meals pre purchase for those who could not afford to pay. The to me shows how the business supports the community. After finding out a coupon I had did not work when I attempted to use it online the manager honored it without me having to say a word.

The food was excellent, and the service was just as good. My wife and I were treated to a great meal by a very gracious and personable host. I would not hesitate to recommend Dickey's BBQ. I don't think you would find better BBQ anywhere else near the Reston/Herndon area.

This place a gem bro. I only had one sandwhich and a side and my bank account didn't get destroyed, the portions were more than enough. Country fried steak sandwhich called The Trail Boss had the perfect meat to bread ratio and combined with any of the barbacue sauces you could drink alone. I will be be back and will happily revert my funds to zero with no regrets about it. When I do theres also the coolest thing I've seen in a while; paying it forward and buying a meal for somebody who is down on the rollercoaater of life revitalizes my faith in humanity. Thank you very much to Parish for the meal and everyone that came together to make this Dickeys a possibility in this area. I am very happy right now I wrote this 1 minute after leaving I had to. They deserves credit where it's due.

Very good I loved their sausage sandwich

I am appalled by the okra this time it isntneven cooked all the way it's soft and soggy and I paid for 3 orders of pickels and got jalapenos, instead, I am really disappointed in this order. Normally the okra is pretty good, but to still see powder on it.Because it's not cooked all the way through and just this mushy mess, i'm really upset and it's expensive and it's not cheap.
