The original pollo place in Herndon before they started popping up everywhere. You cant't beat the lunch special: 1/4 chicken, rice, salad, drink and chips and salsa for under $10 (including tip). I also get the pollo saltado which is really good.
This place was recommended to us. So we thought we give it a try. We went in about 8:30 and no one was in there! We were greeted and told to sit anywhere we like. Place was clean, outdated but that's okay. It felt like grandmas kitchen so we did not mind that it wasn't fancy, more like home. My mother and I shared 1/2 chicken with yucCA fries and salad.
