I love white-table-cloth restaurants and I love French food. So, while we had a layover at Dulles, I convinced my husband to Uber to La Bonne Vie for dinner. I was really wanting to try their beef stroganoff as I have not had that in years. The reason for a 4-star rating was the price. The beef stroganoff was $54! Honestly, I was shocked, but I ordered it anyway. It was excellent. Will I order it again? Probably not. I just cannot justify that price. My husband's chicken...
We had Magret de Canard, Coq au Riesling Pie, and NY Strip Steak with Frites. The food was very authentic French and very delicious. We.also had Profiteroles and Afrogado for.dessert. They were.also outstanding. Our waitress and waiter were very attentive and efficient. This is a wonderful upscale restaurant .
It was our first time her for my boyfriend’s birthday, the entire experience was absolutely lovely. Such a beautiful space, the food was amazing, we got the caviar, scallops, mac and cheese. The ambiance was exactly what I was going for. 11/10 we’ll be back!
