The staff was all amazing. The decor is beautiful and the food was all beyond our expectations. Highly recommended for dinner. And we will be back for lunch as well. We had a party of eight and they handled all our orders and questions with ease!

Maharani Restaurant in Herndon is truly a gem! I have visited this place many times with friends and recently went with my family for the Sunday buffet. Every time, the restaurant offers a unique and beautiful vibe that keeps me coming back. The food is absolutely delicious, and the variety in the buffet was impressive. My parents loved the experience and enjoyed every bite. The ambiance is rich and beautifully designed, and the seating arrangement is both comfortable and elegant. The place is always packed, which speaks volumes about its popularity. Despite being busy, the staff and owners are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. It’s rare to find a restaurant that gives you such a warm and homely feeling while still maintaining an upscale ambiance. Maharani is undoubtedly one of the best high-end yet reasonably priced restaurants in Herndon. Whether it’s for a casual outing with friends or a special family meal, this place never disappoints. Highly recommended!

Very noisy because seats are very close to each other food have no taste they don’t know the difference between lamb and goat and very expensive

He didn’t just manage; he orchestrated an experience that left me floored. His energy? Unmatched. His attention to detail? Spot on. It felt like he wasn’t just managing a restaurant but hosting guests in his own home. Every recommendation he gave was a hit, and his charm made the evening unforgettable.

We tried - seekh kabab, dahi bhalla, bhunaghosht, tons of complementary stuff and everything was great. Cutting chai and halwa were a delight.

A very nice interior and great service. We went for lunch buffet on a Sunday.

There was a good variety of dishes served which included vegetarian and chicken, shrimp, goat, and Pani Puri station.

It was crowded and having a reservation helps. Service was really good.

Will be back for trying out their al a carte.

The food is very delicious, fresh, and obviously prepared with care. We will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying out the lunch buffet next. The decor is top notch. It's a special place to dine. They have a full bar. The service is great too. Madhuri was very helpful with making our selections and explaining differences in appetizers, entrées, desserts, and drinks.

The food was excellent. Portion sizes were huuuuge. We got butter chicken whole boneless. Lamb Rogan josh. tandoori paneer and Aloo chat papri as an appetizer. For a family of 4 we had plenty left to go. Our server Madhuri was excellent.

Unfortunately, the akbari baigan was disappointing; the baby eggplants were hard and chewy, with a hint of raw spice. However, the excellent service stood out. It seems their specialty may lie in non-vegetarian dishes, which we would recommend trying.
