I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nan Thai Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. What immediately set this restaurant apart from many other Thai establishments is the incredible balance of flavors – it wasn't overly salty, a common pitfall I've encountered elsewhere. The Kapow is most authentic Thai I’ve had in a long time. No onions, bell peppers, and watery sauce. It is not americanized, just like you would get it in Thailand. Keep it spicy and add the Fish sauce with chilis from the spice rack, and let the spicy umami take you to a different level, excellent!

Husband said for the first time it was the best pad thai he's had in Northern Virginia. So I definitely know we came across a gem in the city. can't wait to come back for more!
