My family had a lovely vegan veggie plate dinner. We shared three veggie plates between six people, and that was plenty of food. The injera was cooked perfectly for scooping. The greens and lentils were flavorfully seasoned. Dinner was a great value with plenty of delicious food for the price. Tensu will soon need to expand their dining area, because the food and service are amazing!
Don't be fooled by the bare-bones kitchen. The food was fan-tas-tic!!! They only had the veggie combo that day, but the flavor was absolutely incredible. The portions were generous and the prices fair! You could tell that this was a community institution, as many people were running in to pick up their daily meal or ingredients. I highly recommend it!
This was a perfect hole in the wall-everything made from scratch and with love, and the sweetest looking surely someone's grandma came out smiling with a delicious platter. No menus, no utensils. Get the vegetables and this is as it gets for $16.
