My family and friends have been getting their sandwiches and sweet rolls since they opened. Boy do they know how to make a sandwich. Great portion,consistency of fillings, fresh ingredients. I am vegetarian and they have options!! Highly recommend!!

My son and I stopped by Twisted Sweets & Savory in Herndon after seeing so many people rave about it on Facebook. Some folks love the sweets, others the sandwiches—so we had to try for ourselves. We ordered the turkey and roast beef sandwiches along with a cup of the chocked poblano soup, and wow!
The bread is perfection: crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, and not too thick (which I love). The veggies—lettuce, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers—were so fresh it felt like they were sliced just for us. The balance of bread, meat, and veggies was spot on. Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious.
I totally get the hype now. It honestly feels unfair that places like Subway and Jimmy John’s charge the same or more for something nowhere near this quality. These sandwiches were on another level. Highly recommend!

The food is very good quality and good portion sizes too. There are not too many choices that the menu is overwhelming (although I do wish there were more), and you can get desserts or meals.
I do wish the tables were a normal height though, cause they're so high they need a special table for those with mobility issues or kids/elderly and those still aren't that good for them.
Also it's hours are bad cause they're so inconvenient. Most people get off work around 5 and they close at 6 every day. I often can't leave until a little after 5, it takes me like 40 minutes to get here, and they're closed all of Sunday so I can like never go to this place.

Hands-down my go-to sandwhich destination. The ingredients are fresh and the soups are always on point. The bread could not be more fresh and it puts an explanation point on the tasteful ingredients. If you get a chance to try the Reuban, it is literally my favorite hot sandwhich in the world.

I've had this place bookmarked for a couple months and finally had a chance to try this Hungarian chimney in Herndon!
I came a little after opening time on a Saturday morning. They were surprisingly not set up, with the chimneys not in the display. If I were able to see the chimneys in the display, I probably would have created my own.
I ended up just ordering something off the menu since I didn't get a chance to see the options up front/in person. I selected the Pistachella. It didn't taste/feel like it was freshly made (considering I've had freshly made ones in TX). However, the flavors were great, with the combination of nutella and shredded pistachios. I'm curious to try the savory chimney, and create my own sweet one.
Customer service was okay, enough to be able to place the order.

As the name of the business indicates, both savory and sweet chimney types are offered. Suggest you eat half of your savory chimney sandwich so you have room for the sweet ones!
The chimneys are fresh. The savory ones have a nice crispy outer layer with the nice and fluffy inner layer adds to the texture of the overall sandwich. The ingredients in the sandwich are fresh.
The sweet chimney has options filled with ice cream (half chimney) or full chimney with a thin layer of spread.
Overall, delightful and tasty chimneys. Definitely worth a visit/revisit.
