My first visit to Twisted Sweets largely exceeded my expectations. I had Kurtos Kolacz many times before (in Europe) and I was so excited to see that I can have one near when I crave them. I had not one …but 7 because they were that delicious. My son enjoyed them as much as I did and we shared with friends (who knew what to expect because they also had them in Europe). Needless to say that everyone was impressed and I will be there in the near future for more Kurtos.
The owner is a sweetheart and she will go above and beyond to make her customers happy, she works in the kitchen preparing the delicious food (I had soups there as well and I saw people eating their sandwiches and they finished everything to the last bite). Next time I will have a sandwich as well in addition to my Kurtos.
I recommend ordering your Kurtos in advance and ask for it to be warm (there is nothing more delicious than a warm Kurtos).
It was definitely worth one hour drive to get there. I couldn’t recommend this gem of a place more. If you know Kurtos, you know what I am talking about. And if you don’t know Kurtos, it’s time to try one and you will be forever addicted. Kurtos is also called chimney cake.

I got the everything bagel seasoned turkey with roast beef, one of the best sandwiches I've had. The bread here is amazing. Coming back for sweets next!

Newly discovered favorite spot of ours, top of it operated by long time friends and her family. “ Szia Julcsi!” ? sadly we decided 10 min prior closing on a Saturday to try them out, so we only ordered ready to go sweets, out of consideration to management. Even tho I know for a fact we could have ordered anything , we would have been served and this is why we didnt. It’s a nice spot to grab a bite. Very spacious with several tables if you choose to eat in and extremely CLEAN by all means. The food , the place, the presentation, everything is flawless all the way. You can even peek in the kitchen, organized , see thru and very clean. Chimney sweets are my childhood favorite that I didn’t eat for over 20 yrs and it was better than I remembered even. Fresh , soft, tasty …. I can’t wait for Monday to try out some of their sandwiches, I have no doubt it’s better than anywhere around. If you around Herndon looking for a quick bite, you should consider to try it out, I bet you will become a “regular guest” . Hands down it is definetly deserved the 5 star every way!!

On a whim ordered a sandwich from here while I was out running errands. The sandwich was surprisingly good! I've never had chimney bread before but it's super delicious. I ordered the chicken salad and it was solid. My husband ordered the smoked salmon and honestly it was even better. I'm definitely ordering that next time. I also want to try their sweet breads; they smelled really good when I walked in to pick up my order.

We only visited #TwistedSweets&Savory two times and had the Chimney Cakes so far from the menu. Honestly it brings back fond memories from my childhood, when I visited If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out. If you have tried it go back for seconds if you like authentic deserts or if you have a sweet tooth. Either way try it!!

Good spot with a friendly vibe!
The chocolate ice cream with Nutella in an Oreo Chimney was delicious, though the ice cream could use a bit more flavor.
We took jalapeno cheese chimney to go. Bread was good but needed little salt and spice. Looking forward to trying their veggie sandwich next!
Edit: tried the veggie in jalapeño chimney and it was really good. Nice fresh bread and ingredients. Must try.

Really good pastries and desserts. Only complaint is they don't have wheelchair accessible seating.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of non-meat options available
Parking: Shared with other stores
Kid-friendliness: They have dessert
Wheelchair accessibility: You can get inside with a wheelchair but not seating available

I decided to grab food here after an appointment and was really impressed. The roast beef was the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Bread was next level and the portion size was very generous.

Being Hungarian myself, I have to say that the owner was very polite and sweet and treated us very well, the food was excellent and she was even kind enough to warm up our chimney cake for us. Thank you so much.
