We tried this place for the first time and had a great experience overall! For appetizers, we ordered the crispy tofu — the sauce was a bit salty and strong for my taste, but still flavorful and enjoyable. For the main course, I had the Japanese curry ramen. The noodles and veggies were delicious and cooked perfectly, though I would have liked a bit more depth of flavor in the broth.
The service was good, and the atmosphere was energetic and lively. One thing that really stood out was the variety of vegan and vegetarian ramen options — much more than many other spots, which is a big plus!
I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the mood for tasty ramen with great plant-based options!! 🌟

The restaurant is in a strip mall. The inside seating is confined, but there is seating outside depending on the weather. The Japanese curry Ramen noodles i had was delicious

We were traveling and picked Umai for some ramen and curry after a long day. I ordered mazemen, my daughter ordered an ebi curry, and my wife ordered a beef ramen. All were delicious, the staff was great, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

It’s a very small place. But it was popping! I am very picky when it comes to ramen. And I was not disappointed! It was very good! My friends the next day went and was also very impressed as well as they are also SUPER picky when it comes to ramen. With how busy it gets. Would recommend reserving if you can. (Wait wasn’t super long though. They said 20 min. But I think we got a call within 10 min)

Small izakaya style restaurant, with attentive & accommodating staff who really know their menu & drinks. The umai curry ramen was fantastic, Thai infused Japanese curry ramen, with lots of flavor & perfect seasoning. The marumen (brothless ramen btw) was better with a little chili oil, but that's a preference. The sake mojito wasn't as good as the (yuzu sake) China dog (variant of a traditional salty dog) cocktail, which was on par (perfection) with the lychee cocktail (sweeter, as that's the wife's preference). Small location, five checks sat & left while we were there, but we had a wonderful date night & will return often to try all the different ramens. The happy hour selection was great, as they have a very knowledgeable bartender Max, & delectable selection of Japanese drinks. I was surprised they had so many varieties, including Orion, which some Japanese had not even heard of last time I was in Japan.
