Cool experience to get freshly made BBQ in a parking lot. Very good pulled pork and Fred is also quite the comedian with the most piercing blue / crystal eyes I’ve ever seen on a black man. Don’t know what the bad reviews are about unless it’s some personal grudge. About as good as Willard’s and similarly priced.
Who is that guy in the smoking truck in the Reston Park and Ride lot? It's Uncle Fred. I drove by him way too many times before I stopped in and now I can't stay away. I forgive myself for not getting on board sooner. Give Uncle Fred a try. I know you'll be a fan like me.
I meant to review this truck stop a while back but forgot to! It was a great deal for a sandwich and two sides, I can’t remember exactly how much I spent but it wasn’t over $17, it was great and I’m not a huge fan of bbq unless it’s Korean or off the bone😂 Uncle Fred’s is great and always super great customer service every time you come by! Great portions and good sauces, definitely need to get it when I see them there again! I love supporting local/small businesses...
