When we arrived, a waitress told us we couldn’t sit in a certain area because it was “for staff,” even though it was clearly regular customer seating — and other guests were seated there. It felt unprofessional and completely unacceptable. The interaction left a bad taste in our mouths, and during an earlier take-out visit, my partner and I also ended up feeling sick after eating their food. We haven’t gone back since. The Fairfax location is SO much better!

Ordered spicy beef noodles, seafood noodles, minced pork noodles, pork soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, and chicken dumplings. Noodles and pork dumplings had good flavor. The rest were just okay.

I’ve been here a few times with my ex and also without.

This is a great sit down place for a quiet dinner or lunch. My personal favorite is their beef intestines soup. Despite preconceived notions that beef intestine might not be for everyone, this is a great soup though it may taste a bit different with nuts which I’m allergic to. I’ve also tried their din sum, but was far more impressed with the soup.

The broth is very flavorful and it’s not too spicy. Likewise, you can talk they are using fresh noodles instead of premade or frozen which adds to the charm of their shop. They also used pickled vegetables which add to the authentic flavors and charm.

Affordable, flavorful food. Tastes more authentic than anywhere else I've tried. It's not to my taste, but it's a really good place.

When folks talk about Chinese restaurants, they are often talking about Chinese-American restaurants; food that's been Americanized and that is hardly representative of that found across the Pacific.

This is not Chinese-American. This is genuine Chinese food.

The noodle soups and dim sum are excellent - generous portions, savory, perhaps a bit spicier than expected, in a good way. The place itself is modern and staffed by friendly folks that help to answer questions about the dishes. I can highly recommend the intestine soup.

Amazing authentic Chinese food for a great price! I love that they have cold noodles, they are so tasty during summer months. The portions are so big I took some home. The atmosphere is great, I plan on returning to try their dim sum.

It was hopping when we got here on a Tuesday evening. We ordered their top dishes - soup dumplings, beef noodle soup, red hot dumplings and the dry fried noodles. They were all tasted good. The best of all, it did not break the bank.

The servers were busy but they were responsive to all my requests. I was happy with their services.

I would recommend this place if you want to have good Taiwanese style cuisine.
