Hillsborough Vineyards & Brewery

Visited this winery with some friends the other week. Wine flightes were pre selected but you can still get a taste of any wine and beer!

Our bartender Arman was very friendly and helped guide us on the best wines to pair with our food. He also gave us a great breakdown on all the beers on draught and gave us amazing food recs (get the carpenters flatbread)!

Views are amazing, bar staff are friendly, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Will be coming back!!

My girlfriend, my best friend and his wife visited this beautiful vineyard on 08/08 for the first time. We were honestly impressed with the views and the welcome upon arriving. We ordered our first round of drinks (2 flights, and a red sangria) and our first round of food (2 flat breads and a cheese board). Upon receiving the drinks, we enjoyed all of them except for the Sangria. We all agreed that it wasn't to our liking, so we decided to return it immediately after sipping it and asking for another flight and a bottle of the Cab Sauv instead. We explained that the flavor was not to our liking and that we didn't want to drink it. Arman apologized and got us the next round of drinks. We proceeded to have a good time and got another round, beer this time. Everything went well until we got our check. We noticed that we were still being charged for the Sangria. When we asked Arman about this, he said that he originally took it off the check, but his manager added it back on the check before he left for the day. We expressed how unprofessional of an excuse this was and that we should not have to pay for something we did not even drink. We were very clear about asking for an EXCHANGE of drinks when we returned the Sangria. Arman's explanation really confused us, why would a manager allow the removal/refund of a drink, then before leaving, add it to the check?

Unfortunately, we will not be recommending this place to other people due to the unprofessional service we received. This is not the way you treat first time visitors.

Overall had a great time. The staff was friendly but at times they did seem uninterested in providing a full-experience. It wasn’t packed when we went- since there was a thunderstorm out, but we did have a great time. Less people the better- and sometimes undivided attention from the staff. We had a couple of their flights, a bottle and took one home. Their food was good too! Definitely recommend!!

What a beautiful vineyard! Tylor was amazing. She was knowledgeable about the fine and accommodating to all our requirements.

Tylor was an absolutely incredible host - warm, attentive, and full of grace. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of.

What truly stood out was the way she made our friend’s birthday feel extra special. Her kindness and care did not go unnoticed, and we’re so grateful for the part she played in such a memorable day for us.

One employee. Patio full of weeds. Steps not safety marked so dangerous. Underwhelming.

Great menu, allergy friendly menu (also delsih), dog friendly, great views and wine!

Nice views, good wine, and good pretzels. Good spot to drop by if you're looking to get outside and enjoy the scenery
