The icecream.is good what you expect. It's paying g with a card and the the expected tip is onnthere when you paying premium why not inc paying g your staff and not expect another 20% plus for a tip on an $8 item. It's only a food cart. Not a sit down restaurant.

Ice cream is good, service is friendly but DO NOT recommend the ice cream sandwiches. They use pre-packaged Grandma's Cookies brand which is already hard - add cold ice cream inside and you end up with a mess as the ice cream all oozes out the sides. You can't bite through it. We ended up throwing it away after one bite. If you stop here, go for something in a cup.

Great little ice cream place in Hillsboro.

Great ice cream!

Real ice cream, real good! We loved their flavors, their ice cream is creamy, and tastes great. They make their own ice cream and source locally where possible. The portions are big, prices reasonable and staff very friendly. In addition to scoops, they also serve shakes, malts, Sundays, banana splits, and more. There is a playground set and field nearby to let the children play and tables to sit at and clean porta potties to use.

My fiancé and I had been wanting to try this place since we saw it go up in the area. We finally drove down from about 45 minutes away the other day to check it out. We are all for supporting local businesses and we also understand higher quality ingredients = higher prices but, weren’t prepared for these prices. MooThru’s prices are not posted anywhere online, at least not that I’ve found. The economy is worse right now than it was during the Great Depression, my family certainly can’t afford to pay $5 for ONE single scoop of ice cream! I’m mainly just posting this as a warning to any families that are interested in trying MooThru but may not realize that this place has real ice cream straight from the farm and therefore, is not as affordable as you’d expect for your typical ice cream truck. I realize that everyone has to make a living but, I believe prices should be posted and easily found across all social media platforms so families can budget/know what to expect when they come to your truck. I’m sure MooThru has great, quality ice cream, however, my family and I will just stick to our favorite ice cream truck down the road. ??

The best ice cream around. The Hillsboro location is open thu, fri, sat and Sunday. A Loudoun Valley High School teacher, Mr Miller, runs this location. Blackberry is to die for.

MooThru provided ice cream for our wedding (a mobile cart with 4 flavors) and it was a hit with our guests! MooThru was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the planning process and they hit it out of the park on wedding day! Delicious ice cream and great service!
