I was looking for Thai in the area and found this great little spot. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was fast. The Fresh Roll appetizer came with four large rolls, heavy on the lettuce and one shrimp in each, but the peanut sauce it came with was delicious. I got the Cashew Nut dinner and would have eaten the entire (large) plate if I could have. Very good.I like how you can customize the spiciness of your dish, from level 1 to 7. This is definitely the best Thai spot in the immediate area. The food is always good and you get a huge portion. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly. The owners are absolute sweethearts. During the weekdays they have a buffet lunch option which is phenomenal.
I came to Kacha Thai on Saturday with four friends. I ordered a Thai tea, crying tiger, and crispy duck. Everything tasted amazing, as always. My only complaint was that the service was very... weird. My party arrived at 5:22. The server proceeded to tell us that they closed at 6 pm (on a Saturday?)
