We are travelling from South Carolina to New England and have stopped on this and other trips at the Boathouse a few times now. As with every time, the food, staff and service were outstanding. We were offered an outside table on the railing of the deck with the fabulous view of the James River, and enjoyed sitting outside with perfect weather, and a beautiful sunset. Our server, Thomas H, was incredible and lots of fun. We wholeheartedly recommend The Boathouse at City Point...
My husband, friends, and I had dinner at The Boathouse recently and had a great experience. Not only was the food good, but our server, April, was amazing! She was attentive without being pushy, kept our drinks full, and had a great sense of humor that made the whole meal fun. You could tell she really knows the menu inside and out and genuinely cares about taking care of her tables. Excellent service—we'll definitely ask to sit in her section next time!
Our server, April, was amazing. She kept checking on us and even cracked a few jokes for our party of 6. Just what we wanted on a nice night on the patio. Tried the swordfish for the first time and would definitely get it again
