Food was good but not great. Service was extremely slow. Large group was seated behind. They were very loud and very obnoxious. Even though the group was not part of our waiters tables he was slow and non attentive.
The food was excellent, but unfortunately the service did not meet expectations. We had noted “special occasion” on our reservation and specifically requested to be seated at one of the available window tables to our server. Despite there being four open tables, our request was denied with the explanation that those were reserved for “anniversaries” or “birthdays.” We ended up having a two-hour dinner, during which those tables remained empty the entire time. I have only been to the Jefferson's Restaurant & Taproom twice, but each time the ambiance is relaxing, the overall setting is gorgeous, and the food that I've had has been fantastic. I am addicted to their Cobb Salad, it tastes amazing and is quite the standalone meal (see pic). Next time I'm there, it will be hard not to get the Cobb again but I am keen to try other options.
