I arrived at The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa on July 1st for a job interview at the day spa on July 2nd. I interviewed with Audrey Zmigrodski virtually on Thursday, June 26th. We set up an in-person interview for me to do a facial. I asked her if it was okay to bring my dog with me. Audrey said it was fine to bring her. She said my room would be 100% comped since I was driving on July 1st from Chesapeake, VA. The morning of my interview I woke up to a charge from the Omni Homestead...read full review
We recently had about 20 people join us for a private soak in the Warm Springs Pools, and it was fantastic! Lisa Bene, the manager there, was so great to work with to plan our event, and the night of the event, she went above-and-beyond in making sure our guests were taken care of, including an amazing overview of the history of the pools for them. Holiday Dining at The Omni Homestead provides a charming and grand experience in a historic and prestigious setting. The staff is friendly, kind, and top-notch, ensuring a pleasant dining experience at the Jefferson restaurant. Guests may find the wine list lacking, but they are allowed to bring their own bottle with a corking fee. The Easter Champagne Brunch is highly recommended for a special holiday treat, with management going above and beyond to create a memorable experience. Some guests have expressed concerns about families with children running freely and the occasional slow service. While some have experienced delays, others have praised specific staff members for their exceptional service. The resort has undergone expensive renovations, leaving it finely appointed, and offers a variety of activities, including horseback riding and a well-kept golf course. The grounds are beautiful and steeped in history. However, some customers have been disappointed by canceled activities despite prior reservations. The resort does have additional fees and limitations on amenities such as parking and pet policies, which can detract from the overall value. Despite these drawbacks, the beautiful ambiance, kind staff, and unique features, like EV chargers, make it a worthwhile destination for those looking for a charming getaway.
