“We were driving thru Appalachia yesterday just to see what was there and found a hidden gem. I had the pulled pork plate and thought the price maybe a little high but it was NOT. Best pulled pork that I have found in the last few years!!! Hands down! i will be back. i was also told that they have live bands and music.....”

“My daughter, son in law, and I had the opportunity to eat here today. We pulled in and within a few minutes had the nicest car hop come out to our car. I didn’t get her name but she was so polite and friendly. My son in law and I got the 4 piece fried chicken dinner. It came with fries, coleslaw and 2 rolls. The chicken was delicious. Crispy and moist but most of all fresh! The coleslaw is super good. My daughter got a cheeseburger and she ranked it right up there with a steakhouse burger. We will definitely be back if our future travels lead us close.”

“I can't say enough good things about this place! The coffee was the best I've had ANYWHERE!! I got a plain coffee with cream and sugar, no bitterness at all! The blend is made specifically for them and is so good (even went home with a bag and plan on ordering more online)!

We ordered a French Toast cold latte that I'm not joking tasted just like the French Toast I ordered for breakfast!!! The biscuits and gravy where very good too. It was all so good I ordered a Northport (sea salt Carmel and Chocolate) latte to go!

If you want the best coffee and breakfast in the area you have to check this place out! The owners are fantastic people. The place is beautiful and you can look out over the river because it sit right over top it and look at Portal 31.”

“This place is absolutely AMAZING! Honestly one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had. I’m from Texas and lived in the area for about two years, and I used to get their food all the time. Their hot and sour soup is insanely good 🤤 and the portions are always generous. I moved back to Texas a year ago and still haven’t found a Chinese spot that hits the same. I’ll be back in town for the holidays and I cannot WAIT to eat here again. 🍲”

“I visited Roosters Pub in Pennington Gap and had such a great first experience! I tried the Liquid Marijuana cocktail along with the cheddar rounds as an appetizer—both were delicious.

From the moment we walked in, the waitress with the long brown hair made us feel completely at home. Her accent was absolutely the cutest, and she gave us such warm, attentive service. She really made the whole experience special. We even had a good laugh when she let me borrow her favorite pen and came back jokingly asking if I stole it!

I ordered the cheeseburger with wedge fries, and let me just say—the fries were the fattest fries I’ve ever seen! Everything was satisfying, and the vibe was welcoming.

Definitely a spot I’d come back to!”
