“Last 2 times I was there I observed large dogs in restaurant last was a large poodle who shook himself and then was led to salad bar . I don’t live with dogs in my house and don’t like to pay to eat with them if they are trained dogs for the blind nd ok but not personal support which I think is only for attention I love their food and staff w but we will not spend our money eating with dogs so a change must be made to retain our business”

“Not all Hardees are the same, and the Lebanon, VA Hardees definitely shows it. The staff is friendly and makes you feel like they truly appreciate your business. There are people who come here every morning for breakfast because they feel welcomed. I sat here today and watched the manager, Sandy, interact with customers, and I can see why this is an exceptional Hardees. When you run a business, it's one thing to be staffed and another to be staffed with the right employees and to lead by example. If I were still in the workforce, I would definitely work for her.”

“Stopped going years ago due to poor food and bad rumors. However, we tried it out as a friend said it has some new employees. I was impressed. We actually received fresh, hot, tasty food! The waffle fries are a bad idea for LJs. I loved the old fries, these hold grease too much. The slaw wasn't gross and was nice this time. The parking lot was clean. Building looked good. Curb is rough on cars as its a big pothole to cross out of the lot, making turning onto the main road a little unsafe. I would go back again at lunch time. Still have yet to try other time slot, like dinner. 4 stars because of the parking lot damage and rumors of employees fixing their own meals in the fryers, that can contaminate and make allergy incidents if true.”

“UPDATE 2023: So I've lived in Lebanon VA for about eight years now, and El Campesino has went from the WORST Mexican restaurant I've visited to a much better local option. There have been good changes here, from changes of staff to remodeling the restaurant, and the food is actually very good, with a typical variety of Mexican regional dishes. I previously would not have recommended this restaurant back in 2015, but as of 2023 I visit here twi e a week and enjoy it.”
