Super friendly staff. My gouda burger was amazing.
The food was excellent. Seemed to be quality ingredients and well prepared. The beer (Pilsner) I had was just okay. I'm sure the skunk smell is desirable for people that are really into craft beers, but not my thing. My GF got the cider. It was pretty good. It almost seemed like a wine cooler rather than a cider, which I think is a good thing.
Great atmosphere! Attentive staff! Delicious food!
Food was disappointing. However beer was good
I was visiting and looking for a beer friendly restaurant to grab lunch and meet a friend. I like dogs, money and beer so I thought this could really work in my favor. Unfortunately it was more like a dog ate my money and spilt the beer, no fun.First off the location can be tricky, with its limited visibility, I missed it the first time choosing to turn into a strip mall when its actually across the street in an all brick office building. Once there it was a beautiful day and they had a huge patio so I sat outside, therefore I didn't get a good look at the inside, only a quick glance of copper fermentors lined toward the bar. I was literally the only person there which I tried not to read into, so service was spot on. I did a beer flight while I waited which is restricted to their flagship lineup of 6 and a pub pretzel with beer cheese and a claimed IPA in-house mustard. All the beers were pretty balanced, and easy drinking but overall just average, nothing stood out. The "amber" IPA was too malty, the Hefe too much banana and I wasn't looking for a Irish red, brown or smoky stout to quench my thirst, choosing an extra pint of the golden lager. My friend showed up and we took a second to order as I was finishing my pretzel. She got a chopped salad and I ordered flank steak tacos. As our waiter stood there I asked if he brought me ranch instead of mustard for my pretzel. He responded no. I said hmm it doesn't taste like mustard and Im pretty sure this watery mess can't be as I poured it into the empty cheese cup to show him the liquid consistency. He just stood there gazing at me, uttering like a robot, we make it in house. I replied, did you pour beer into it before you served me? He just turned and walked away, um ok.Suffice to say the rest of our food was just average and predictable, I mean its pretty hard to mess up a chopped salad but my tacos @ $14 had an abundance of ingredients that didn't include steak. My recommendation, save your money and find better beer down the road at a number of local breweries unless you're picking up an expensive treat for your pooch.
Large outdoor seating area. Food is always good!
I'm afraid that one star is generous. A bad experience overall. Ten minutes just to get someone to acknowledge our arrival and start the table process (a clear sign of events to come). Now seated, it took ten more minutes to get a server. We placed the complete order (food and drinks). Ten minutes for drinks to arrive. Fifteen minutes later server asked if I wanted another beer (yes). After 15 more minutes still had not received the 2nd beer or salads (much less the dinner). (Meanwhile, additional patrons were continuing to be sat despite clear inability to serve customers already there). Management made no attempt to offer any explanation as to the reason for the nonexistent service. We finally gave up. Speaking to the manager, we offered to pay for the drinks but informed him we could no longer tolerate the poor service. He said he was sorry and that we didn't have to pay for the drinks. Not sure how this place stays in business, but we'll definitely not be back.
The dishes were spotless. Shrimp soft tacos were amazing!
Really nice atmosphere, nice decor, check out the one of a kind light fixtures in the bar area. The Rauchbier was a winner. Smokey and flavorful. Literally the best Bratwurst I have ever had, and friendly service rounded out an altogether good experience.
They're open on the patio. Great food and drinks and amazing service. Stop by for a great evening.

Love the atmosphere, welcoming staff and wonderful choice of menu items! The mahi-mahi tacos are a must and their salmon is to die for—especially on top of Caesar Salad. Don’t miss the Fish and Chips or the Chili or tomato basil soup!
We stumbled upon this place after a trip to the wineries. The atmosphere was quiet but service was good. The bratwurst is made locally and good and the burgers were flavorful.
Great Happy Hour and food. Close to home
Great atmosphere and food, their brewery is unbelievable. Prices are good for the quality.
Cask beers, but none left. 8-10 rotating drafts, but four available. Slowwww service. Atmosphere and food are redeeming factors, but spending 150 for dinner is better elsewhere. I've tried 5 or 6 times the past year since moving out to Leesburg and it seems to be a common theme. The closeness to home and alluring atmosphere get me to go back (and great wings/deviled eggs) but I leave disappointed.
