The food was excellent. Seemed to be quality ingredients and well prepared. The beer (Pilsner) I had was just okay. I'm sure the skunk smell is desirable for people that are really into craft beers, but not my thing. My GF got the cider. It was pretty good. It almost seemed like a wine cooler rather than a cider, which I think is a good thing.
I was visiting and looking for a beer friendly restaurant to grab lunch and meet a friend. I like dogs, money and beer so I thought this could really work in my favor. Really nice atmosphere, nice decor, check out the one of a kind light fixtures in the bar area. The Rauchbier was a winner. Smokey and flavorful. Literally the best Bratwurst I have ever had, and friendly service rounded out an altogether good experience.
