Everything we had here was fantastic! Super cute wine bar. Service was outstanding! Ash was our server- Ash was very knowledgeable about the wine selection and made great recommendations. We tried the scallops, halibut, tuna tacos, grits, and the cheeseboard. We will definitely be backDietary restrictions: Gluten Free

We visited Echelon on Valentine's Day. The food menu was limited to charcuterie and cheese because of the holiday. We chose to not indulge in the food menu, but did enjoy two flights of white wine. The atmosphere of Echelon is absolutely perfect for an enjoyable date night. It's warm, cozy, modern, and very comfortable. Our sommelier (Ethan) was awesome and super helpful. He moved our experience from great to spectacular.I chose not to rate the food category for this experience, but will update when we return for dinner in the near future.

I had a lovely dinner last night at Echelon, I was part of the Northern Italy Wine Dinner. Being by myself, I preferred a spot where I could feel comfortable alone. To my surprise, I was seating right next to Aimee & Todd (Owners of Lost Creek & Echelon) & the education director at Echelon. It felt like they thought about everything before hand. All the wines we had were delicious, my favorite one was the Corvina, Farina Valpolicella. However, The Barolo Langue they served was very elegant, and a good impression for trying Nebbiolo for the first time. Thank you Aimee for choosing the pairings. The meal was amazing!!! Please, my compliments to the chefs. My favorite dish was the Mushroom Ragu. I wish I could have some more of it. The dish was so flavorful at every bite, but thankfully, after some wine & delicious food, time for dessert came. If this would have been a religious ceremony, this would have been one of the solemn moments. Tiramisu with Nutella & Coco, paired with Moscato d 'Asti. The servers were always so attentive, explained the dishes, and were very friendly.Thank you all for such a great experience. I am sure Bacchus is admiring you and certainly happy for a wonderful job and dedication.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at echelon wine Bar. Tonight. We went for our eighth anniversary since we got engaged and we had a wonderful time. The bartender was very insightful and knowledgeable and provided great insight about the different wines available. The prices while high were very well stated for the amount of value received. The food and wine were amazing. We highly recommend the gnocchi, the risotto, and the burrata. All of the food was delicious and would not be something to skip. The food is meant to be served top of style where a lot of small bites are selected and eaten and shared across the table. We will be back and we will be enjoying it again soon.

Wine flight is really delightful and the food selections are selective yet delicious. Cheese board is a must, as are the unique parmesan grits but the runaway star is definitely the Olive oil cake with candied cherries. At this point we haven't left Leesburg without ordering it - it's that good! Do yourself a favor, follow that hole-in-the-wall place and enjoy Eschelon in Leesburg - you'll love it. **Note, none under 21 allowed including infants.

Modern and chic, big city style wine bar with plenty of food options. Great place to meet up with friends or take a date.

Best wine selection I've come across in the Frederick/ NoVA area. Cozy vibes snuggled below the bustling street above. Perfect place to try a wide variety of wines from around the world. The knowledgeable staff help round out the whole experience. Just don't try to bring your baby with you, they mean it when they say only 21 and over allowed.

We've been excited to try this place but unfortunately we were let down. Spent 80$ not including tip on two wine flights and two small plates. The wine is decent but I would not order food here again. The ceasar salad was a soggy, overdressed mess. The grits tasted so strongly of truffle we could hardly eat it. We left feeling sad and disappointed. I guess we would return for wine but I just don't see it happening. Definitely left a bad taste in our mouths.

We've been there twice recently with a small group and a medium group. First the positives.. The food is solid (small plates) and the wine selection is decently European with not much CA and too much VA, but they have an affiliation locally. Prices are fair all things considered. Staff is friendly and the decor and ambience is well done. We noted "urban" on the title at the entrance and maybe that explains some of the issues from where we were sitting. Each visit our waiter seemed profoundly disappointed that no one in our party had any food allergies - they seem to specialize in [insert aggrieved element] free versions of everything. Allergic to water? We've got you covered. On both visits our waiter took the entire order without writing anything down. For the small party this was tough but achievable, but the larger group would require idetic savant status to pull this off. We were soon reminded that both waiters were quite human. The real killer was the check presentation. Each time our waiter simply came to the table and read the ordered items for each party town cryer style then announced a total. We were then presented with an iPad to sign and tip. Were we overcharged for our flight? Since we had no idetic savants among us there's no way to know. Once she got to the second and third parties we repeatedly heard "oh never mind you didn't have that" - are we re-reading the first group or just moving on? Not sure if this is how "urban" establishments are doing checks these days, but we aren't a fan.

We had the food and wine pairings tonight and it was fabulous. The food was really outstanding, the wines were very good, and the service was excellent. I can't wait to go back.

New favorite hang out in downtown Leesburg. We've shut the place down twice in a week! The food is awesome and the atmosphere gives off a Speakeasy feel. Recommend the Parmesan Grits, Pork Belly and Burrata, but everything is good. Wine is reasonably priced with a large selection. Tip: Order courses in order...apps first and wait to order more. Order two things at a time. Each order gives a party of 4 a few bites. When ordering all together they just come out when cooked.

Ever-changing remarkable wines-by-the-glass list and very impressive eight-page wine list... categorized for the serious wine fan.
