SO UPSET! What's going on with the Johnny Ray's located in Sterling, Va? Why is it closed? We loved going there for lunch.

Stopped at restaurant yesterday during store hours and it was closed.

Tried calling today @ 2:30 pm and message says number no longer in service ? ? ?

Stopped here on our way back to Ohio and the food was really good. They were out of a few entrees, sides, and all the desserts we wanted to try but overall the food and service were top notch.

My mom and I were in the Leesburg, VA area this weekend and decided to stop in this establishment. From the food to the hospitality to the ambiance, everything was an A. I had the catfish with collards and candied yams, while my mom had the ribs. My mom is a picky eater and was skeptical of the catfish after having a bad experience elsewhere. She not only finished her food, but after tasting my catfish, ate a quarter of that as well. The staff was pleasant and polite. The artwork was beautiful and the old school classics playing, made it feel like my childhood. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Like many others we found this just traveling through, and I’m so glad we went. The food was great, the vibes were sultry, and the hospitality was wonderful. Huge shout out to the staff and Chef Q! We will definitely be back.

My favorite place hands down. If you like soul food and amazing hospitality come to johnny rays. The salmon is ridiculously delicious and all the sides are to die for.

Dude. This place is a hidden gem. Very good greens and the cheesesteak had this deep flavor going on.

Customer service was good too. The cook asked what I wanted so he could get started while the cashier was busy. I appreciated that.

What a wonderful find! Everything was fresh, hot, perfectly seasoned and expertly prepared. Succulent catfish, fresh fried okra (not from frozen), slow cooked greens with loads of flavor, candied yams to rival Grandma's, and generous portions. Will make 2 meals for me. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food.
My only regret is that I live too far away to make this a regular stop. If you have never been here you must try it! I would give 10 stars if I could!

This place is a must stop an eat at! I was on a business trip and found this little place after I googled nearby restaurants. The food is awesome! The best fried catfish sandwich and fried Okra in the area! I highly recommend.

We used Ray’s a personal catering event and the food was a hit! Especially the jerk chicken. The service was excellent and the quantities matched about the estimate we needed (15 guests). The food was delivered exactly on time and appreciated the delivery person getting the food to where we needed it. (Great attitude as well). We will highly recommend them and will use again.
