Silk Catering was originally scheduled to provide full-service catering for my wedding. After meeting for a tasting and multiple conversations, an agreement was made that we would use the company for our wedding. Silk originally sent a draft contract which we then asked for a few minor changes including a menu item. Silk took over a week to email back, even after we called for them to send a response. We then had a few last few questions and told them we would sign when the questions were answered. After once again calling Silk, we were told that our slot had gone to another party and that they would not be able to service our wedding. They are incredibly unprofessional, with poor customer service, not reaching out to us once to say that they needed a final answer. They will leave you out to dry without a second thought, if you are a wedding party save yourself the stress and go with anyone else.

attended a wedding at the Rockville location, food was mediocre and service was worse. Drinks were not refilled, tables were not picked up and wedding cake was left at the table uncut and unserved. Guests used cups to scoop up the cake to eat it since no plates/utensils were given to serve ourselves. Not going back, was very disappointed with the poor hospitality displayed!!!!

We went there Saturday June 17 th for dinner .Wedding invitation.Hall nicely decorated.Loved their appetizers.Tikki chole , Two types of chicken kebabs, Vegetable kathi roll and scallops wrapped with bacon.Very tasty food . Dinner was rice , naan . Lamb Rogan Josh, paneer , Sham savera . Various pasta fishes plus chicken piccata. Chicken Piccata was full pf cream lacked flavor. Sham savera was too dry . Paneer was ok .Dessert was carrot halwa mango ice cream & vanilla . Really enjoyed the dessert.

Food is great! Went twice- both for dinner. Chicken always cooked perfectly, sauces are so creamy and flavorful. Wings have a great flavor, there’s plenty of beer to be had. Naan is cooked perfectly. My father has never had Indian food before, what a great first experience for him!! Next time I’ll have to try the goat!

The company I work for was looking for a place close by to do some training. We called the hotel who gave us a name and number for a man who "owns that place". I called and left a message. No response. I texted the next day and finally got him. He quoted me a price and we agreed to it. When the proposal came, it was different than discussed verbally and was addressed to his previous client. When the errors were brought up, the vendor was very dismissive and battled with selective memory of our conversation. We were pressed for time, so we accepted. We appreciate him letting us rent it last minute, but the other rooms were empty anyway. Getting him to respond to anything, especially email was painful. His responses were not professional and made us feel like wanting things, in writing and correct was burdening him. Every time he sent a contract, (because we had to have him make changes to reflect what we'd agreed on) the amount and terms were different. After the event, we asked for a receipt and invoice for our company records. He ignored numerous requests. When he finally did respond, he complained again that he charged what he quoted (basically why do you need a receipt/invoice). When I got it, again it was wrong. We were billed $50 more than our executed contract. If you are using this venue, I recommend leaving plenty of time to coordinate as responsiveness was not ideal on short notice. The positives were being able to have a room with less than 1 week notice and the food was delicious!
