Very cozy winery set in a relaxing rural setting. This is the ‘Goldilocks’ winery in VA; not too big, not too small, but just right. Wines were very good, the reds were superior with a winemaker that understands to let reds age before releasing them. Matt was our server and he was great. Highly recommended for a classic Old Dominion vineyard experience.

We (a party of 2) did a chef’s tasting. For the money ($200 including tip) it was a decent value. Four courses were mushroom soup, salad, salmon, and cheesecake. Food was warm, could have been hot. A lot of time passed between first and second courses. Would do it again though probably. Venue was very cute. Had a lot of outdoor options but they are firm that they do not allow pets.

6 years ago we visited the winery for brunch and had such a memorable experience. We looked so forward to returning this time while visiting the area. Over the last 6 years we often talked about how we can't wait to sit in the beautiful courtyard, sip mimosas and listen to the fountain while eating brunch. Unfortunately, things have changed.
