Great neighborhood tavern. Really friendly staff, and it has that perfect neighborhood vibe. The food is made from scratch in the kitchen — not the usual frozen pub fare. They keep local beers on tap, and with seven TVs you won't miss a game. This is our spot.
We were excited to visit this restaurant. It was really busy, which is always good to see. We were able to grab the last table which was outside. The server was overwhelmed and he didn't hide it well. We had to ask for the table to be cleaned twice, for a menu(they only had one left), for napkins, to place our order twice. I was looking forward to my grilled cheese sandwich with tomato and bacon. It was covered in the garlic aioli, 2 scant pieces of bacon and 1 small...
It's a busy Saturday, and it just hit 6pm. The dining room, bar and patio are almost full. All that said, someone still greeted me within less than a minute of sitting down. They even adjusted the umbrella so that the sun was out of my eyes. I got the most delicious Strawberry Mule that came out so fast I couldn't believe it with such a packed bar. The P-BLT is amazing, although the meat to bun-veggie-bread ratio was a bit off. The fries are killer. Such a great experience...
