I DO NOT RECOMMEND I was employed there until last night after almost two years. No one wants to work and constantly listen to hateful rhetoric about Christianity and political talk about how Venezuela and Kimmel were wronged. Hate for my President Trump ect. This is so unprofessional in a work environment. When I expressed this to the head cook ---my supervisor in the kitchen ,his response was don't come back. He was part of that hateful talk. No I don't recommend this place...read full review

We ate there tonight for the first time and we will be back! The food was well prepared and so full of flavor. Everything was fresh and one of the best meals I have ever enjoyed! The service was outstanding. We haven’t been able to stop talking about what a great meal we had.

Hardens is a well-known restaurant in Lexington, celebrated for its great drinks and inviting atmosphere. The smash burger remains a popular menu item and is often hailed as one of the best in the city. The steak and fries are also highly recommended by many diners. Prices are reasonable, and portion sizes are generous, making it a great value. The staff provides warm welcomes and excellent service, although some recent visitors noted slow service during busy times. The restaurant offers free 2-hour street parking, with longer parking available in a nearby lot. Hardens is a favorite among locals and tends to get busy, especially on Fridays and Saturdays when the colleges are in session. Arriving early or considering pickup is advisable if waiting is a concern. Recent guests have praised the well-prepared, flavorful, and fresh food, calling it one of the best meals they have experienced. Despite some issues with cold and soggy French fries and service delays, the atmosphere, cocktails, and overall dining experience continue to impress. Hardens remains a highly recommended dining destination in downtown Lexington, where diners can expect a vibrant experience and a chance to enjoy phenomenal food and drinks.
