We ate there tonight for the first time and we will be back! The food was well prepared and so full of flavor. Everything was fresh and one of the best meals I have ever enjoyed! The service was outstanding. We haven’t been able to stop talking about what a great meal we had.

Hardens is a wonderful addition to downtown Lexington. The owners, Bill & Jessica are the sweetest and have succeeded in creating an additional successful and well run food establishment. If you are debating on trying it out, do it! You won’t be disappointed in the service, food, drinks, or atmosphere. It does get a little crowded on Fridays and Saturdays when the colleges are in, but they are worth the wait. Our experience with pick up has been great as well if you don’t want to wait for seating.

Hardens is excellent. The food, atmosphere, and cocktails. I had the chips and queso and my favorite part were the homemade chips! For my entree I had the ahi tuna sandwich that was absolutely fresh tasting and satisfying. To drink I had The Firm which was a great rendition of an old fashioned. Check this place out for dinner! You won’t regret it!

The food was excellent. The mac and cheese is a must try item. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts and they were among th best I've had. We ordered the general for our cocktail and it's my new favorite drink. Great spot!

Delicious food! 3 of us dined with drinks, a few shared apps, and entrees and everyone was delighted, from the vegan to the carnivore. Thanks!
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are easy, vegan possible but you have to be a bit creative and leave this or that off (honey, or mayo) but it’s possible and the food is delicious. The owners know the place is noisy and are considering some eventual remedies.

My husband and I shared the wedge salad and then each had the smash burger with the homemade fries. The food was all so good! I’m celiac and the gluten free bun was awesome! Would definitely go back!

Lots of gluten free options…or not. Ordered Harvest Salad, noted as GF, but only if you remove the fried goat cheese. Bartender kindly offered to use plain goat cheese instead but didn’t share until mains arrived that they were out. Bartender didn’t offer to replace protein, date already had food and it had taken awhile to get dinner already. Left hungry and annoyed. Good concept, interesting food ideas but not good enough to crave again.

We were in town from Richmond. The Thai Chili wings are some of the best wings we’ve ever had, from the breading to the sauce they were just perfect. I’d drive back there just for those.. The Steak Frites with the chimichurri was a great recommendation and choice too.. Atmosphere and service were perfect all around. The owners have a great thing going with this place. I’d be here all the time if I were local.
