We had an exceptional dinner at Haywood's to celebrate our anniversary!! The food was fresh and delicious. The service was amazing, and the piano player was a beautiful addition to our perfect meal.
Good restaurant in a lovely setting. Attentive service, variety of selections for different tastes. Prices are a little high but the portions are generous. The rock fish and the steak dishes were delicious.
Our family was celebrating my husband's 50th College reunion in Lexington and chose Haywood's to dine because it felt upscale. The ambiance was nice and food was good. As other reviewers have noted the problem is the service is lacking. Service was extremely slow even though we had a 5:45 reservation and the restaurant was not busy.
