Delicious and creative pizzas and good beer!

Was super excited to try this place and have a pizza. Honestly, there is nothing decent local to Amherst so we traveled to Lexington. Unfortunately, all the flavors were there but the crust on the center of the pizza did not hold up. Nothing against this establishment but the oven technique is off. Once again, the flavors were there. Just don’t care to eat soggy pizza. Wiling to try again once this gets worked out.

The food is otherworldy.

We enjoyed our beer and pizza! Even though the pizza was a bit undercooked it was still delicious. They give you scissors to cut your own pizza which is a bit odd/ gimmicky.

We stopped in for drinks and lunch while visiting friends in Lexington, and I had to leave a review! The gluten-free cauliflower dough pizza was fantastic, and hands down the best gluten-free crust I’ve ever had. So many GF crusts can be disappointing, but this one was amazing.

We also tried the labneh, which came with gluten-free cauliflower dough flatbread and fresh veggies—absolutely delicious. The staff was super welcoming, and the brewery had such a great vibe. Hope we get the chance to visit again soon!

After traveling all the way from Virginia Beach I came to this establishment with dogs, which on their website says they "love dogs." I went in the doorway to see where they can sit and was told by a bartender on the patio... Which I was expecting and is completely fine. She brought me menus and we went to the patio. Waited 15 minutes out there with nothing. I spent an additional 5 minutes trying to get the bartender's attention, while she was walking around talking to other workers completely ignoring us. Finally just decided to leave and I'm pretty sure she rolled her eyes at me. There are so many cute places in this town with incredible service and great beer. Their beer selection honestly doesn't look the best anyway, but I wouldn't know because we didn't get that far. I'd spend your time and money elsewhere...

I ordered the local root vegetables pickled in house, fall salad without parmigiana, and the sourdough funghi pizza with red sauce instead of herbed cream. It was all so very delicious! I wish I lived locally but thankful I discovered it! Whenever we visit Lexington, I will definitely eat at Heliotrope?

My partner and I each ordered a panini - the Zaatar and the Street Corn. The Zaatar panini was incredibly underwhelming, and consisted mostly of arugula - seriously, the entire sandwich was almost just arugula. When I finally hit the cheese and seasoning, there was very little flavor. The bread/dough was delicious however, and I assume that their pizza versions are much better since you'd get a more even spread of everything. The street corn panini was alright.

All of the reviews I saw were amazing, so I was incredibly disappointed. Definitely a place to go to for the beer but perhaps not for a full meal.

Cool, trendy downtown Main Street location. Modern interior tastefully decorated. Pizza and beer are the real draw though. Excellent choices. Craft beer fans need to try the Special Bitter.

If you have the chance to go here, GO! I haven't had pizza this good in a long time. We're from DC and stopped here on our way down to Warm Springs. SO worth it. I really appreciate the number of vegetarian options, and that they're interesting! So many places have either MEAT options x100 or just a Margherita pizza. This pizza was so good that while we were in Warm Springs, we made the drive back here to eat the pizza again.

We had the Za'atar, (which is perhaps my *favorite* pizza of all time now), as well as the Street Corn (so good!!!) and the Burrata & Heirloom Tomato. I found the chunks of tomato on the Burrata one to be a bit too big (and cold), BUT that's just my preference, and not a criticism. If you love tomato, go for it! It's still delicious. I appreciate that they really load up the toppings on every pizza. It's also fun that they give you pizza scissors to cut slices to the exact size you want. Makes it really easy for sharing, too.

In terms of beer, the Legends of Viking Yacht Rock is one of the best IPAs I've ever had. 10/10! Absolutely delicious.

The servers were also incredibly nice--I can't recommend this place enough. :)
