My first time here, was looking forward to it. Was a little let down because of service. The beer was great, but my wife and I were at bar by ourselves, no other customers. We had to “ask” to be served. The bar tenders / servers were busy talking to each other, rather than paying attention to customers. I feel it was because we’re not “regulars”, as the regulars were treated like family.
Stopped here on the way home from a road trip and was not disappointed. The brick oven pizza is delicious! The perfectly charred dough was soft, light and flavorful. Sauce and toppings were solid too. I had a Hazy IPA which was good, but the pizzas honestly stole the show.
Good beer. Good pizza. Love the Hummus and Dahl (the latter when it's available).
Need to get rid of the scissors and just cut the pizza into fourths or something.
