Sam's Hot Dogs-Lexington, VA

My husband and I were driving through on vacation and making a pit stop. We decided to grab a couple of hot dogs and these were honestly some of the best hot dogs we have ever had. He had two with the hot chili on them and by the end of it he had sweat pouring down his face. I had a hot dog as well but no chili. I love stopping at hot dog shops and this has to be in my top five.

I had two with everything on them. The best Cole slaw——-ever!!!! Delicious hot dogs too!!!!

Staff were so very charming and wonderful. If you’re on the road and searching for a proper hot dog - especially as a West Virginian! Swing on in!

Stopped by on road trip to WVA from Northern VA. Supercharger in Lexington so this was walkable from there.

Sam’s Hot Dog stand in Lexington is right next to 7 Eleven, and it’s good deal for around $3 per dog.

Got 3-dog with soda combo deal for $10 and then I was hungry after 1 dog, so I got another one for $3. Apple Pay is accepted.

I got Hot Dog with all condiments except mayo, spicy chili which isn’t really spicy at all. Maybe spicy for white folks, who knows. All in all it was pretty good, for quality and quantity I’d say worth it.

We saw a sign from the highway and had to stop. Glad we did! Cheap and delicious! We got the two dogs combo and pork BBQ combo. Everyone was super friendly. If you get the chance, it's a must stop.

We loved the hot dogs. The chili and slaw were perfect. I can’t wait to try the pull pork. Friendly service, great price and a drive thru to boot! Great job ladies we will be back when we come to Lexington!
