The Palms was great! It's a solid, stand-alone eatery and bar. I have heard about this place for years as a Lexington staple, but had never stopped in... expectations were for an average experience, but this was great! The food was pretty standard in selection (nothing crazy), but everything we had was excellent! The staff there was so friendly from when we walked in until we left. I cant say enough about the waitstaff.

The Palms – Lexington, VA

We always make a point to stop at The Palms for lunch whenever we visit Lexington. Their menu has something for everyone, with a great variety of options. The staff consistently go above and beyond to make each guest feel welcome and valued. We’ve been coming here for many years and have always received excellent service and delicious food — 100% consistent every time. Highly recommend!
This is an old place, built in the 1800s, that has lots of character. There is a decent size bar with a few TVs. We were getting our food to go and decided to eat it there. Glad we did. The bar tender was great and loved the atmosphere. Lots of people and great energy. We had the bacon royale burger, the southern red eye burger and the pimento BLT. All 3 were great. The burgers were juicy and the home made pimento cheese was great! We got the chips, just ordinary potato chips...
