It was our first visit to Lexington and to the Palms. I had a Havana sandwich which was like a Cuban sandwich and it was served with a large portion of very good pasta salad. The sandwich was large also and I could only eat half of it, so I had lunch the next day. The restaurant has been in business since the '70s and is in a building with antique touches such an ornate tin ceiling. They were busy and the noise volume was very high. Great food and atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were greeted by almost every staff we came across with smiling faces. Two other staff aside from our assigned waitress came to ask how we were enjoying our meal and if we needed anything else. Family friendly as well.
Wow! I am super impressed with this place. The food was great, definitely recommend getting the pasta salad as a side and the coconut cream pie as the dessert. Best pie I've had, by far!
