Wow! We usually enjoy this place and its food. Today we had probably our worst breakfast at any Waffle House we have ever visited. Wife’s scrambled eggs were raw. Bacon “strips” were curled balls of grease. Hash browns swimming in grease. The waffles were so bad that the waitress said she was not charging for them before she even put them on the table. Music was loud and the three women crew acted like they were too tired to care. Bad crew? Don’t know but we drove a long way for a very disappointing “meal”. We’ll try again and hope that they get their act back together.

Waffle House delivers a solid breakfast and it’s entertaining to listen to the kitchen lingo. I had scrambled eggs with cheese and has towns scattered and covered (with cheese)

Granted it was the day after Christmas, and wouldn't want to be working either. We were visiting and didn't realize we weren't supposed to sit until the table was cleaned. We were kind of snapped at when we walked toward the table. When our food came out, my waffles were not cooked well and not even warm enough to melt the butter.

If you have never tried the Waffle House it's a downhome experience you have to make time to try. It reminds me of the great diners of the 50s and 60s. The folks who work here are great. The meals are good hearty food made how you want and served quickly. I would recommend trying this great American diner.
