The best description of Waffle House is that it's an old-fashioned diner - everything is cooked to order, the menu is limited, and the atmosphere is basic but comfortable. It's the kind of place you can stop at on a road trip because you know what you'll get and it will be fresh but not fancy. Breakfast and burgers are the basics here.
