Had a wonderful experience here. We stopped in (no reservations) on our way to Shenandoah and it was a great start to our trip. Very knowledgeable server who did our tasting and gave us lots of context and recommended nearby places. The location is very scenic and the wine is some of the best. We had to bring home two bottles because we couldn't choose just one!

Fantastic wine, knowledgeable staff - an excellent experience all around. If you're a wine lover and think you can't get exceptional wine in Virginia, you're sorely mistaken and a trip to Linden Vineyards will quickly set you right. Was excited to visit this week as they brought back the cellar tastings - great way to stay cool in the summer. I'm also signed up for the Winegrower's Selection and receive 6 hand-picked bottles twice a year with tasting notes and suggested food pairings.

Linden offers a one-of-a-kind winery experience. We toured the grounds and discovered the meticulous care given to each vine, the significance of terroir, and the variety of grapes cultivated on the property. Knowing that each vine receives individual attention and every bottle is hand-labeled made the experience even more meaningful. We then enjoyed a tasting that truly highlighted the impact of each growing season and its environment. Alex was an excellent guide and gave wonderful recommendations!

We visited the tasting room from out of town this last weekend and had a wonderful time! The venue was beautiful, the wine was great, but our server, Kathleen, truly made our experience. She was so kind and knowledgable, and we loved learning about the wine with her!

Linden Vineyards is one of those places where you go to get a complete appreciation for wine. Not only are they the most delicious wines in Virginia, the staff are so knowledgeable about each wine that you get a complete immersion. It is one of the only places I’ve been to where they have you compare the wines you are tasting with each other, which I thought was great. While most wineries will only give you a flight and send you on your way, Linden Vineyards takes as much time as is needed for you to enjoy their wines.
I don’t understand some of these reviews that are upset because they were walk-ins and couldn’t sit for a tasting. . It is clearly stated on their website that you need a reservation. On a busy day they cannot bump somebody’s reservation for a walk-in. No business would, however if they are slow, they will take you. The time they spend with each customer is deserving of a reservation so that you are not rushed. My advice is for you to call ahead and make a reservation to enjoy the best wine experience in Virginia.

Wines were exceptional. Tasting room was comfortable and views were spectacular. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The vineyard is remote and it is a 4-5 mile drive on bumpy gravel roads, but totally worth it. Highly recommended. Reservations are required, so don’t try to go if you do not have one.
Staff were miserable and rude. It felt like you were bothering them to be there. Back deck is unkept and dirty. So many better options for the money you spend.

Wonderful experience. We're so blessed to have such wonderful people and places in Linden Virginia. Our visit was quite unique, but our hosts were so wonderful and accommodating. We got to walk through the vines and see the fruit up close. Then we got a walking tour of the process of how the grapes go from vine to barrels. Once inside, we got to ask tons and tons of questions on the processing process. Tested some juice, and up to the lab, we went to see what the wine scientist look for in a batch. We wrapped up our private tour on the deck, looking out on acres of beautiful vines. We are so grateful for the opportunity to get to learn all about the wine making process.

Reservations are essential so please plan ahead and book your spot; but we had no problems doing a same-day reservation for a sunny September Saturday.
The staff in the tasting room are bringing their A game, too, we felt very looked after and warmly welcomed, and happily have no choice but to come back. Probably repeatedly.
