The Oaks is a welcoming and friendly down-home restaurant where the service and food are great. The staff is helpful, and the owner, Angie, and Nancy make guests feel like part of the family. They offer delicious dishes like fried shrimp and perfectly cooked ribeye, as well as clam strips, onion petals, crab cakes, sautéed shrimp, and a salad bar with homemade croutons. Desserts such as coconut cake, lemon blueberry pie, and orange cream cake are highly recommended. Despite a short wait for a table, the experience is worth returning for, making it a secret dining gem to enjoy.
