I just love Bryan , Cleve , and the other front-end staff. They are just what you expect from a local , rural , very small-town business. They know you and what you are looking for , and , you know them. It's great to be able to approach and converse with the people that you see almost every day . Food is great, lots of hospitality here, wait time wasn't bad at all, definitely going to stop by for food more often!
Food was good, the fried chicken breast was really juicy and cooked well. The waffle fries came in a large serving and were good when fresh and hot. The bag they are served in should be dumped out on a plate or something or it will make the fries get soft and loose the crispness quickly. The green beans were good, the Mac and cheese was good but very oily. The chicken fingers were not the best as they had a very thick breading compared to the chicken breast.

$33.00 for 2 two piece chicken meals. The price wasn't even the issue, but then when we started eating the food, it was horrible! I have been eating here all my life, and has always been one of my favorite places, until now. They must have new cooks because nothing tastes the same, no seasoning, Mac and cheese tastes like it's full of ranch! Very disappointed

Very good food & the restaurant/store was very clean. The people were very nice & and sweet, very helpful. We were traveling to NC. Stopped in rt at the change over of breakfast & lunch, and they still fixed us biscuit & gravy & a veggie omelet. The food was very, very good. If you traveling that is a good ol' country food stop.
