I had the Monterey chicken with tots and mac salad. Very impressed. Cooked to perfection and bursting with savory, spicey flavor. Highly recommend. The service was top notch with a friendly tone and a smile. Always heard nice things about this place and the positive reviews were not wrong. You can not go wrong by stopping by and grabbing breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I finally stopped in at this diner after driving by for many years. I should have kept driving by. The service was almost pathetic. They forgot part of the order and we witnessed them putting food back on the plate after it fell off. As I waited for our food, I noticed how many things there had that "old" dirty look. Even the exit sign was greasy and dirty. The food was a solid "meh"! Bland. My recommendation is don't spend a Penny at "Penny's"

Fun place to grab a quick bite. Easy access off 64, a bit hard to find at night, but it's right next to the travel lodge. Service was very friendly and atmosphere is nice and relaxing, feels like the old time diners. Might need to look for a place to park if pulling a big rv.
