When given the chance I will always support mom and pop restaurants that aren’t chains, however I can not recommend Dan’s Steakhouse, as it has gone downhill and quick. After being told to sit wherever our waiter came and got our drinks, we were greeted with “Welcome to Wendy’s” that should have been the sign to get up and leave but I get people working two jobs as I did that myself in my early twenties. Everything was perfect! We sat in the bar area at a table. The bartender took our order. Food came out perfectly and I am very picky about how my steak is cooked and it was just right! Everyone was very friendly, service was spot on, food was great!
We were the only group of people (6) at the restaurant at 5pm. It took over an hour to get our food. My husband and I ordered a pound of shrimp and it was definitely not a pound, it tasted like it was cooked in water not steamed and no sides came with the shrimp which seems crazy at least give sides if you are going to short the shrimp.
