Visited Luray Caverns Cafe—it’s a good spot for a quick bite, especially in case of hunger during your visit. You’ll find enough options to fill your stomach, but it’s not a place to expect a full feast. Prices are moderate, though the portion sizes are not very large. The staff is friendly, and they offer ice cream and drink choices as well. Seating is limited, but the washrooms were clean. There’s no Wi-Fi available. Added the menu for reference.
We stopped at Luray Caverns on the way back to South Carolina after spending a few days in Washington DC. They were stunning! I wasn't expecting it to be such a big tourist stop, but there was lots to do....little shops, museums, and this cute cafe. We stopped for lunch after visiting the Caverns and got a nice burger, grilled cheese, and snacks. Nothing fancy, but the prices were reasonable, service was friendly, and food was fast. This is a beautiful area in the Shenandoah...
After touring the Luray Caverns we were in the mood for a snack. My nephew said “hot dog” and I agreed. The cafe is clean, spacious, with reasonable prices, and very good tasting hot dogs. It was a delight to come in and enjoy a quick snack. Great music and friendly staff- a bonus.
