Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

This was the worst chicken spot I've ever been to. I ordered the boneless bites and they were full of fat and I asked for wet sauce they put dry rub on them. I called a young lady working there was incredibly nice and said that she would replace my meal with something else and would give me my money back. When I went back to the store the manager asked me where was the chicken that I had and I told her the previous lady I spoke with told me I didn't need to bring it. She then wanted to upcharge me $6 to switch out the boneless bites for traditional wings which is stupid because the boneless bites were about the same price as the wings. Plus I had to drive back twice to get my food right. The bone-in wings were disgusting. They were tough. I couldn't even break them apart. I will never go back there again. The manager was unapologetic and didn't want to accommodate me. She just said that this is how the boneless chicken comes. They don't fix it. What do you mean? You don't fix it like I don't want chicken that is full of fat. It wasn't just breading. It was like pieces of fat in it. I will never go back again. Biggest waste of my money. I don't need free food but I do expect you to an order if it's wrong but I'll never go back.

Great service speedy but the food let’s talk about that I got the breaded wings total of 18 cost 31.00 honey bbq. Wings are un eatable. Chewy tough rubbery te wings are HUGE but definitely not good I will be returning the rest of wings very disappointed

Our Order was stolen by a delivery driver and the manager made sure to fix the problem, she was so very nice about it as well as the lady whom I talked to that day from the restaurant. We will be back and when my sister Nita went in, she said everyone seemed nice too. It was our first time here and we look forward to coming back! Have a Very Blessed Day!!

What kind of customer service do you guys have I place the order at 12:40am and the order gets accepted I tried calling 4 times and no one answered then after 15-20 mins of me waiting for the order you guys cancel it this makes no sense store doesn’t close till 2am

Hangry Joe’s used to always be my favorite place to get wings because of their Angry Hot flavor. However, recently the experience has been really disappointing.

The wings are not only not spicy anymore, they barely even have any flavor at all. It’s honestly been one of the worst experiences I’ve had there. On top of that, my last order was supposed to be 12 wings, but I received 11 drumsticks.

I’m not sure what’s causing the decline, but as a customer it’s been really frustrating and disappointing to see the quality drop like this.

Best chicken in town and the employees are fun and friendly, def give them a shot.

I stopped in for a take-out meal. Three chicken fingers, fries, and a soda. Unfortunately, it took almost 40 minutes for my order to be ready. It wasn't worth the wait.

Go there during our lunch break to feast on some wings and they supposed to be open on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. . We get there at 12:15, and nobody's even there and it's closed. If you can't learn how to read a clock then you might as well close up shop because there's a lot more difficult things in life than that. Passing kindergarten reading a clock is required, so I recommend you pull a Billy Madison and go ahead and enroll in kindergarten, because obviously you missed this lesson. Godspeed. You won't be getting my money again. How about them apples?

Open mate but won't server you regardless. So u professional. I've never been able to order here. Embarrassing. UPDATE- gave this place another chance and still was able to order although the hours said they were open online. They need to fix the time they say they are open because they are not open when they day they are online. Its terrible. This was my last time trying to order here. The cashier even agreed with my frustrations and said they get quite a few complaints frequently. Unfortunate. Good luck with your business but I'm never giving it another try.

We visited Hangry Joe’s in Lynchburg around noon and were surprised to find it completely empty—honestly, that should’ve been our first clue. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the food didn’t match the service.

The prices felt high for what you get. My husband ordered bone-in wings but received six very small boneless pieces—more like popcorn chicken. My daughter’s tenders were also disappointing and looked more like fish sticks than chicken tenders.

The restaurant has the look and feel of a sports bar, so we expected a full experience, but there wasn’t even a bar, which added to the confusion. That said, not everything missed—the waffle fries and the rice bowl were actually good.

Overall, we left pretty disappointed. This place has potential, but the food quality and portion sizes really need improvement to match the pricing and atmosphere.
