Hangry Joe's Lynchburg Hot Chicken

Prices continue to go up and quality continues to go down. Kiosks were removed. No tea available. Drink machine with limited choices. It seems like it's about to go under.

When I walked in and saw how disgusting it was I should have left. I wanted to try it because I was told that the food was good. WRONG!!! The food had no taste. Absolutely no seasoning. The restaurant was dirty and gross. There were bugs in my drink from the drink machine. Don’t eat here. Not worth the money. The girl working behind the counter was alone but she was helpful. They really need someone to clean in there. The floors are super dirty and sticky. Tables dirty and sticky also. I didn’t go into the restroom but I’m sure that was horrible also. The Mac and cheese was runny. Just worst experience ever. That was my first and last time eating there.

Wing combo and wrap combo ordered. Wings were tasty, but served warm. Wrap was big, but mostly lettuce and just a few small pieces of chicken hidden inside. Fries on both orders were cold. Wasn't busy, took awhile to receive our food, should have been hot and fresh.

Visited here as a spot I just found while on a road trip. They were open later than most places in the area. The food was decent, but definitely the heat level is most than expected haha. We got some medium heat wings dry rub and it has more hear than we expected. We probably should have gotten mild had. Otherwise we had the chicken wings and they was good.

Chicken wasn't even cooked fully. The crust was falling off, soggy tenders and pink a little in the inside. Then i ordered 3 fries and only got 2 orders of fries. I just moved to Virginia and i do not recommend this place.

The food us good but the serving is bad u dont what u payed for and they never pick the call up for orders

I didn't go to Hangry Joe's but I would like to have. I've been to one in N.VA and it was fantastic. Had their hottest chicken strips and left the place smoldering. My tear ducts were weeping heat from the inside out. It was great. Hope eat here next time I'm in Lynchburg.

The food is good, but the wait for it was over 15 minutes long and absolutely not worth the price. When we received the food, ranch was not given as requested and the fries we paid for were missing. Both had to be asked for and took a while to get to us. The sweet tea was completely empty. There were dead bugs in the corner on the floor, and it was overall dirty inside.

I especially don’t appreciate the Ai Generated responses you are leaving on bad reviews. It really goes to show how little you care about your establishment, and how you don’t even bother to learn how to improve.

Quality definitely has gone wayyyyy wayyyy down since when they first opened. Lately the fries have been cold and not fresh, the presentation has been subpar. Not worth it anymore tbh. Sucks because this place was on my rotation but I guess the shine has worn off.

I haven’t been eating here 3 times already around the middle of the night and there is not that busy or sometime is not busy at all. The food is super delicious as always I love their fried chicken so much with the angry hot ! BUT THE SERVICE WAS AWFUL I am so disappointed and upset Me and my husband were so hungry and ordered 6 chicken fingers (add more 2$) and what we got was 4 pcs with 2 lil tiny small chicken fingers I was not okay at all and tbh it happened when I ordered to go as well I was wondering it doesn’t show the extra order? Then my husband asked them to change at least they changed for us Thank you so much for that but the lady in front of the cashier was acting annoyed us for some reason and before I left I was sitting in the car and looking outside she was walking to our table and I saw her face was acted like “Ew” didn’t want to touch our table or what I meant I cleaned for you a lil bit as much as I can We didn’t asked much from you at all We were just super hungry and ask for what we supposed to have! Also last time We ordered the shakes we waited for 20 mins for 1 shakes We saw they were busy so we didn’t rush them at all until people got their food except us My husband asked her and she was just “Oh” and walk in to do the shakes without any apologies from forgetting. I love their food AND THATS THE ONLY REASON I’m going back once in awhile

Honestly very disappointed in how this Hangry Joe’s has turned out. They are VERY SKIMPY with their fries and the chicken wrap was unfortunately a bit bland. For $15 to pay for this, it’s really not worth it.

Holly cow never seen wings so big! The flavors are amazing, the sides are great!! This is insane how much food , flavor of everything is a must best hot chicken hands down! Dave nothing this is where it's at!!!

They told me my order would be ready in 10 min, it took over 20 min. I had somewhere to be and made sure to confirm how long it would take. They clearly didn’t deliver on their time range.
