Another fried chicken place, ho hum right? Not so fast my friend, Hangry Joe's is fried chicken but it's bursting with flavor. It's chicken flavored with attitude! By itself, it's better than most but add some hangry sauce or one if the other flavors on this chicken and you found a winning combination. They've got some hot if you want or just flavorful. The medium heat was good enough for me. I'm gonna say it, their fresh waffle fries are the best and I don't say that lightly. Again, they have flavor. We decided to try a milkshake and even that cookies and cream tasted like we were sucking cookies through a straw. When visiting a town, I generally don't eat at the same restaurant twice, but my family insisted we return to Hangry Joe's. I didn't hesitate, we all loved it more than expected. We gotta get one of these a little further north! Oh and I almost forgot the waffle, just get it, you will not regret it.

I really enjoyed my time at Hangry Joe's! Very flavorful chicken and loved the fries. Excellent milkshakes too. The staff was very kind and friendly. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

I met a young lady named Jazz the cashier here who made our first time experience here AMAZING!!! This baby was so sweet and polite we couldn't help but feel comfortable and inviting ❤️ the food came out hot and fresh I had the big Sando ??which is the biggest chicken sandwich I've ever seen and delicious ? the wings were amazing as well we will definitely be back thanks Jazz....if you go here ask for Jazz and tip her well ?

The fried okra was fresh, crunchy, and AMAZING! The chicken was good, my waffle was a little disappointing though. It was very oily and over cooked.

Hangry joes has ever other chicken restaurant beat the flavor is 10/10 and the portions are huge. The wait time isn’t the fastest but it’s totally worth it.

Excellent food. Will definitely go back. Got mild sauce and there is a little heat. You can get a not heat sauce if you can't handle spicy sauce. Good ol slaw too and fried okra.

Ordered two sandwiches about 15 minutes after they opened. both not fully cooked. Here’s to hoping I don’t get salmonella
