“We had Outside the Cone cater our wedding, and it was a HUGE hit with our guests! The staff was incredibly friendly, and they were absolutely game with using our custom ice cream cups (mini baseball helmets, like at the games!). We got Vanilla, Chocolate, and Cookies and Cream, which, again, were all HUGE hits with our guests. We've been to the in-person store a few times as well, and it was just as good there as it was at our wedding. This is one of Lynchburg's best ice cream shops, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for either a sweet treat, or a catered event!“

“Definitely great menu options. Service was great and the staff are very attentive and welcoming. Definitely recommend you have cash or card on hand. This location unfortunately doesn't take Apple, Samsung or Google Pay. The option for no tap pay caught me off guard when it came time for the check. Overall the food and service was great.

“New to the area, on the quest for the best coffee shop! Fun vibe in here with LOTS of seating (and very comfortable seating which can be rare), and I enjoyed an excellent drip coffee, Light roast Nicaraguan, that I was very impressed with. The downside was that on a Saturday morning it was slammed and took about 30 minutes for a drip coffee, and don’t think I ever heard a “hi” from the baristas as it was a bit disorganized. Long line and self service with a tablet to order. I would go back again for the coffee and for a longer sit down, but based on this experience and service, it may be a while. All this to say, thanks for the excellent cup of coffee ?“

“I recently ate at Millie's Living Cafe for the first time and it was phenomenal!! I got one of the rice bowls and a gluten-free chocolate chip muffin, both were not only extremely delicious but extremely healthy! It is difficult to find food on the go that has wholesome ingredients and that also caters to common food sensitivities and allergies. “Ongoing problems with bad service as noted on other review sites. Awaiting response from Franchise management. Can someone please explain to me why it is ACCEPTABLE to use RECYCLED low temp chemically infused water (recycled for up to 8 hours) to clean dishes/silverware with that are served to the public. Even the manufacture of the machine says that this isn't acceptable and to stop using these machines as they do NOT kill bacteria, and may contribute to the spread of the Covid Virus.... DO NOT RECOMMEND“

“Brunch at RA is well done, perfectly cooked eggs for the Eggs Benedict, excellent Bloody Mary's, and friendly service. And when the weather's right, a pleasant terrace!
Update - 5/4/2025. When our first choice for Sunday morning was full at 11 am, we very much enjoyed RA. The eggs on the eggs benedict were perfectly done, the cheese fritata was huge and delicious, and the restaurant was quiet and relaxed. Thanks!“

“I don't usually put my personal business out there but my ex boyfriend used to work here a couple years ago and he was a great cook. I don't think he works there now but he loved the job at Hill City. I'd come and visit him and buy food and he always made my cheese steaks so so good.“

“The charm & delight of this restaurant is tucked behind their unassuming storefront. I bring out of town guests to this hidden gem of a spot regularly because their food is delicious and always served an prepared with love. Proper dishes are out and cleared in etiquette for each course & beers are presented in chilled glasses. The experience is truly luxurious. My only wish is that Lynchburg could patronize this establishment enough to convince them to move to a downtown venue or to give them the income to spruce up their store front. “TL:DR - variety of SE Asian food on the menu with good service and okay atmosphere.Not bad, but not to the point where I want to go back to try the same menu. The restaurant has variety, so I would like to try more things. I have tried Pad Thai, but I guess it wasn't up to my standard. The taste was there though if you want to just turn of your craving. Tom Yum soup was good. The flavor was there. Penang curry was hard to tell how good it was because we ordered it Thai spicy, so majority of taste was from the spice rather than the curry. They are spicy indeed and I have normal Korean spice tolerance. Pad Kaprow was a good menu. Not to the point that I would get it again, but it was worth trying. My friend enjoyed the samosas that were in the vegetable platter. I personally did not find anything particularly outstanding yet. Service was good. Our server was a Liberty University student, and he was friendly. I thought the restaurant was a bit messy, and I think that is because they blocked a section of their restaurant with chairs as soon as you walk in with no sign to show why. Otherwise, the decor and setting up a wide space in the middle with tables close to the wall was a very good choice of the restaurant.
