“I visited today for the first time. I assume this is a "Champ's Chicken" franchise location inside a local gas station, given the name Charlie Bob's not being on the packaging for the food or any of the products... As such, this should be the same quality of food you'd expect at any of the Champ's Chicken locations. I've never had it before, so this was an adventure for me...

The fuel cost at the location was high for the area. When I visited, it was $3.19, while a station just down the road was $3.03.

The food I ordered from Champs Chicken was the 4 pc fried fish (catfish) special, for $15. For $15 I had expected it would come as a meal, but nope - it was 4 pieces of fish in a box. The fish tasted alright, but was extremely salty, which is a shock to me because I am one of those family members which everyone else knows for dumping salting on nearly everything, and is the first one to reach for the salt shaker when eating out anywhere... This fish had the traditional crispy crunchy breadcrumb batter, with a nice flaky hot interior. The food was pretty good, but probably not worth the $15 - Maybe $9.99-11.99, since it came with no drink and no sides. The food was ready pretty fast. The staff were friendly and polite.

Since this is essentially a franchise restaurant inside another location, what they have you do is this: They write down your order, they give you the ticket, you walk over to the gas station clerk counter, you hand them the ticket, they ring you up and mark it paid, you take the ticket back over to the Champs counter and hand it back when you get your food. An interesting way to do it for sure, but I can see why they do it like that.

Parking: 4 spots at the pumps. 4-7 spots for cars in front.“

“We got the Super Zap today and it is amazing! I got the large but started eating half before I remembered to take a picture. We love the hoagies here and haven’t gotten a bad one. If you like a good hoagie these are the best in the area. The bread is really good too. My husband and I always spilt a large one and it is very filling. Definitely recommend and we are definitely regulars!

Parking: Parking is very easy. Big parking lot shared with shopping center.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and my child likes the booths seating.“

“When I ponder the highlights of The Deli, it is hard to decide. Is it the fantastic subs on fresh bread? The kind staff? The nostalgia of dining in a family-owned business that was a part of my childhood? Is it the fact that the owner used to cut my subs into thirds so I could share with Mom and Dad, then he switched to cutting them in half after Dad died without me having to ask? It is ALL of these things and more.“

“Yesterday, I ordered an omelet and grilled chicken salad through DoorDash. The vegetables in the salad were very fresh and well-composed, and the grilled chicken was delicious. The omelet was also delicious, and the home fries that came with the combo were delicious. I'm happy to have found this place and will order from there often.“

Found out about Checkers Deli and Cafe through Yelp and I'm glad I did!The Food: For lunch, I went with a classic cheesesteak and fries. The cheesesteak was delicious! The meat was quality and the cheese paired with it was delicious. The portions are great as well, it won't leave you hungry tat's for sure. The Their food options are very well priced out as well.The Service: Staff were very friendly. They had our orders out fairly quickly even with a lunch rush. No complaints.Overall, a 4/5! “Been a loyal Sam's costumer for 3 years. Breakfast sandwiches and omelets are excellent. They offer a variety of lunch options hot and cold; Monterey Chicken Wrap, West Coast Turkey sandwich, and Club sandwiches are highlights. Boxed lunches are substantial, fresh made on sight, and reasonably priced especially in Chantilly. I've ordered up to 40 with 2-3 days notice and they had them ready to go at 10:00 the day of our event. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Dine in area is bright, clean, and comfortable with plenty of seating. I prefer smaller privately owned food shops over chain restaurants, that and the friendly hardworking staff make SAM's Deli a gem in my eyes.“
